Salman Khan to work with Chitrangda Singh in Apoorva Lakhia's film?

Salman Khan is doing his next movie with Apoorva Lakhia who is famous for films like Shootout at Lokhandwala. The popular 90s director is making a film based on the bravery of soldiers in the Galwan Valley. As per a report in India Today, the makers have zeroed in on actress Chitrangda Singh as the main heroine of the film. Salman Khan has done maximum movies with Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerji in his career. In the past few years, he has worked with much younger actresses like Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar. In fact, he was trolled for working with the Pushpa actress. With Salman Khan being 59, and Chitrangda in her late forties, this is a very age-appropriate casting.

Chitrangda Singh is known as a brilliant powerhouse performer. However, her body of work in Bollywood is very limited. She was last seen in Housefull 5 and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. Salman Khan has been diligently working on his body to get into the role of a supremely fit soldier. In fact, he looks five years younger in the latest set of pics doing the rounds on social media. Apoorva Lakhia is planning a 70-day schedule in Ladakh. Salman Khan is training hard for the action scenes in the terrain, which is at a high altitude with low oxygen levels.

Salman Khan is playing Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in the movie based on 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. The actor will be donning the military uniform for the first time in his career. He wants this to be a landmark film in his career.

He was supposed to play a paramilitary officer in The Bull by Dharma Productions. But the film did not work out. They had some creative differences. The shelving of that project had deeply disappointed his fans.
