'Bachchan Pandey' finalised release date amid COVID-19 wrath

The third wave has indeed been real and we have already witnessed an array of mega films witnessing a delay or postponement in their films. From Jersey to RRR and RadheShyam and many others, these films now are postponed indefinitely.

But inspite of all that, if there is one film that has decided to stick to its original plans - it is Bachchan Pandey. The film starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role has confirmed that the film will be releasing on 18th March 2022, which is the eve of Holi.

That's right. The confirmation came in recently where producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed Bachchan Pandey's release date in an attempt to revive the theatrical business.

This was followed by releasing some new posters as well-

The film, apart from starring Kumar in the title role also has Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles while the film is directed by Farhad Samji, who has co-directed Entertainment, Housefull 3 and fully directed Housefull 4.
