Baby John Box Office Collection Day 7: Varun Dhawan's Film Doesn’t Even Crosses The Mark Of 50 Crore In Week 1

Varun Dhawan's mass-action entertainer "Baby John," produced by Atlee and directed by Kalees, received mixed reviews from critics. Despite being a festive release, the film's performance at the box office has been quite disappointing. Reportedly mounted on a huge budget, "Baby John" has been struggling to stay afloat at the box office. On its seventh day of release, the Varun Dhawan-starrer saw a slight growth in its collections, but it wasn't enough to make up for the massive dip in its collections on Monday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned around Rs 2.15 crore nett in India, bringing Baby John's total nett domestic collection to Rs 32.65 crore.

Baby John's total collection in India reaches Rs 36.5 crores. Recent reports from Sacnilk state that the film has garnered Rs 45.1 crores globally. Earlier, it was mentioned that Baby John was produced with a budget of Rs 160 crores, and industry forecasts suggest its overall earnings may stabilize around Rs 60 crores.

Apart from Varun Dhawan, Baby John features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in significant roles. Additionally, Salman Khan makes a cameo appearance in the film. The movie, starring Varun Dhawan, was launched on Christmas Day. This film signifies the actor's second consecutive big-budget disappointment following Bhediya.

Baby John, a remake of the Tamil hit Theri starring Vijay, was anticipated to resonate with audiences due to its emotional and action-packed storyline but it didn’t make it to the audience’s hearts.

Salman Khan also did a cameo in the post-climax scene. Baby John, which is an adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri, is facing challenges at the box office.
