Aruna Irani in Zee's Shree

Zee TV's Shree is all set for yet another twist. The show would soon see the entry of the veteran actor Aruna Irani in a whole new avatar for the first time.

She will be playing Shree's (Wasna Ahmed) dead mother who comes back as an 'angel' to help her daughter fight with the evil force," says our khabroo.

Excited about this unique cameo Aruna says, "It is the first time I will be playing the character of an angel and hence it is a great challenge for me too. While the audiences have accepted me in the role of a Naaginn, I am looking forward to their feedback on this one too."

Adding further she said, "JD is a good friend and when he spoke about this role, even without hearing the narration, it I said yes. I have seen his work and have complete faith in him."

The entire cast is looking forward to her entry in the show.
