Manoj Kumar passes away: Aruna Irani REVEALS his last days struggles, says, 'Fluids would fill up in his lungs
Veteran Indian actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar passed away on Friday at the age of 87. The actor died at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

Veteran Indian actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar passed away on Friday at the age of 87. The actor died at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Actress Aruna Irani, who was also a patient at the same hospital, spoke about his final days in a recent interview with ETimes. She revealed that his lungs were filled with fluids.
When I fractured my leg, I was admitted to the same hospital as him, but I was unable to meet him because of my state. Fluids would fill up in his lungs, and he had to spend a few days in the hospital before he could come back

Reflecting on her equation with Manoj Kumar and his family, she said, “His wife (Shashi Goswami) was always nice to us, and we received special treatment from the two, and I worked in the majority of his films."
Aruna Irani worked with Manoj Kumar on films like "Upkar" (1967), "Roti Kapda Aur Makaan" (1974), and "Patthar Ke Samaan" (1967).
She said, “He was a great person with a kind heart, and when you share that bond with someone, you don’t just remember the films you did together, but you remember all the memories you made while working with them."
Manoj Kumar was recognized for his patriotic films. Some of his most popular movies include 'Purab Aur Paschim', 'Kranti' and 'Roti, Kapada Aur Makaan', among others.
Kumar, born Harikrishnan Giri Goswami in 1937 in Abbottabad (now in Pakistan), moved to Delhi with his family during the Partition. He made his Bollywood debut in 1957 with 'Fashion', but it was 'Kanchi Ki Gudiya' that gave him his first break in the industry.
