Arijit Singh & Udit Narayan join forces for the remake of 'Main Nikla Gadi Leke' in 'Gadar 2'

After the success of the recreated version of 'Udd Jaa Kale Kaava' from 'Gadar 2', the makers are now gearing up to announce a new rendition of another massive hit from 'Gadar - Ek Prem Katha' - 'Main Nikla Gadi Leke'. The buzz suggests that renowned singer Arijit Singh has been roped in for the new version, along with the original singer Udit Narayan.

According to a report from Etimes, 'Mai Nikla' continues to be a rage even after 22 years, with its presence at parties and wedding functions. The makers wanted to recreate the song without tampering with its essence, aiming to infuse a fresh touch. 

Music composer Mithoon, known for his collaboration with Arijit Singh on the blockbuster track 'Tum Hi Ho' from 'Aashiqui 2', decided to bring the talented singer on board for this number. The report further reveals that Arijit will be joining forces with Udit Narayan, who originally lent his voice to the iconic track. Mithoon has kept the changes minimal, ensuring that the soul of the song remains intact.

The Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer 'Gadar 2' is slated for release during the Independence Day weekend. Similar to its predecessor, the film will clash at the box office, this time with Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2'.

As the release date draws nearer, the clash between 'Gadar 2' and 'OMG 2' is set to ignite excitement and anticipation among moviegoers, promising a thrilling battle at the box office.
