Allu Arjun Thanks Chhaava Team for Postponing Release to Avoid Clash with Pushpa 2

Allu Arjun recently attended the grand success meet of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad on February 8, where he expressed gratitude to a filmmaker for adjusting their release date to avoid a box office clash. Without mentioning names, fans quickly connected the dots and realised he was referring to Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, which was initially set to release on December 6.

During the event, Allu Arjun shared that he personally reached out to a filmmaker from Hindi cinema regarding the release date of their movie. He revealed that he does not prefer the term "Bollywood" and instead calls it "Hindi cinema." The filmmaker, who had earlier scheduled their film for December 6, was very cooperative and agreed to postpone it.

Appreciating their gesture, Allu Arjun said, "I'm not a fan of that word Bollywood. In Hindi cinema, I called somebody and I said, they were also supposed to come on December 6. They were very accommodative, and they moved from that date. I personally called them and thanked them for moving the date, and they said, 'We're all fans of Pushpa', and if you come, then we will make way for it."

Allu Arjun also thanked all Indian film industries for their continuous support. He expressed that Pushpa 2 is not just a Telugu film but a pan-India movie, and he values the unity between different film industries.

At the event, he dedicated the success of Pushpa 2 to his fans, stating that they are the reason behind the film’s massive impact. He also credited director Sukumar for his vision, saying that every character in Pushpa 2 was born from his creativity. "Sukumar sir is not just a filmmaker but an emotion," he said, adding that the director gives meaning to their cinematic journey.

Speaking about Pushpa 3, Allu Arjun admitted that while they are unsure of what lies ahead, the energy surrounding the project is electrifying. Fans are now eagerly waiting for further updates on the highly anticipated sequel.
