Allu Arjun Arrest: Pushpa 2 star detained by Hyderabad cops in Sandhya Theatre stampede case; consoles wife

Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun has been detained in the Sandhya Theatre Incident that left a woman dead, and her son with grievous injuries. The superstar whose movie has made over Rs 700 crores globally had announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakhs some days back. He also visited them in the hospital. A video has emerged where he is leaving for the police station dressed in a white tee. We can see him consoling his wife Allu Sneha Reddy. He lovingly pats her cheeks as she stands by his side. Fans are upset as enough deployment of cops was not done at Sandhya Theatre. The security was the lookout of the distributor.

Some are saying it is not an arrest but more of a detailed enquiry into what happened that evening. Special premiere shows of Pushpa 2 were held in Hyderabad and fans came in huge numbers for the same. There was a frenzy and a woman died in the stampede. Her son suffered critical injuries and is still in hospital. The husband filed a case against the superstar for the demise of his wife. Allu Arjun has been taken to the Chikadapally Police Station for the same.

The security around the police station is also very tight. In fact, people are also saying that he was asked to come to the station as his father-in-law is from a rival political party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He is married to Sneha Reddy whose father Kancharla Chandrashekhar Reddy is a member of BRS. While such gossip will float around, this has dampened the mood after mega success of Pushpa 2. The film is a rage at the global box office. In Hindi, it has crossed Rs 200 crores, the sum for which its distribution rights were bought by Anil Thadani of AA Films.
