Following Sandeep Reddy Vanga's decision to exclude Deepika Padukone from Prabhas's Spirit, reports indicate that Allu Arjun has been removed from a film project. According to a recent report from Siasat.com, the Telugu actor had been slated to star in a movie with the director of Animal, which was signed last year. However, sources now suggest the project is on hold, and Allu Arjun is no longer attached to it.
While no official confirmation exists, the report also suggests that Jr. NTR is likely to replace Allu Arjun in the film.
This development follows Sandeep Reddy Vanga's earlier decision to remove Deepika Padukone from Prabhas's Spirit. Reports indicate that Padukone's requests, including an eight-hour workday, a substantial salary, and a share of the film's profits, were not agreeable to Vanga. As a new mother, Deepika is reportedly aiming to balance her professional and personal life by limiting her working hours.
Vanga also used his X account to condemn Deepika, alleging that she was involved in manipulative public relations tactics. “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are…Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it," Vanga wrote and then added, “Aisa karo…. Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames. I like this kahawath very much 🙂 ????? ??? ?????? ???? ???? !"
In the meantime, Allu Arjun is set to co-star with Deepika Padukone in Atlee's upcoming film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Initially, rumors suggested a two-hero narrative, but Allu Arjun's team has confirmed that the actor will portray dual roles, adding an intriguing element to the film. Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2025, with a major release planned for 2026.
