The controversy surrounding Allu Arjun’s arrest in connection with a fan’s tragic death during the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere has taken a new turn. Bhaskar, the husband of the deceased woman, Revathi, has revealed he is ready to withdraw his complaint. He stated that he does not blame the superstar for the unfortunate stampede or his wife's death.
While addressing reporters on Friday, hours after Allu Arjun’s arrest, Bhaskar clarified his stance. “We only went to Sandhya Theatre that day because my son wanted to watch the movie. It’s not Allu Arjun’s fault that he visited the theatre that day. I am ready to withdraw my case. Police didn’t inform me of his arrest; I watched it on the news at the hospital. He (Arjun) has nothing to do with the stampede,” he explained.
The incident began with Bhaskar filing a complaint, which led to the arrest. Hyderabad Police officials arrived at Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills on Friday morning and detained him. They took him to the police station for questioning and later to Osmania General Hospital for a medical examination.

Unfortunately, a stampede-like situation broke out, claiming the life of Revathi and leaving her son critically injured.
The Chikkadpally police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The charges were filed under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following the family’s complaint.
The actor has approached the High Court, requesting the FIR be quashed. His plea will be heard later on Friday, as fans and legal experts await the court’s decision.
