Alladin Arrives on Zee TV

Zee TV proudly announces an all thrilling series of Aladdin which will be aired starting on Friday, November 16 at 9:30 pm. At the launch, Mr. Punit Goenka, Network Operating Officer, ZEEL, enlightened Zee's unswerving effort to innovate and explore the unexploited territory of entertainment. He believes that Fantasy as a genre has not been explored much, and Aladdin with its miraculous appeal, freshly packaged with stimulating special effects, will undoubtedly capture a place in the hearts of the audience.

Aladdin, with whom we've practically grown up with, will be brought back to life on small screen. The narration of the story, not forgetting the special effects will cast a spell on the minds of the children across the country.

The story is about a 15 year old Aladdin who loses his parents under mysterious circumstances. It unfolds his journey through series of interesting developments in his life, starting from the phase where he trips upon the magic lamp, crosses swords with wicked Jaffer, uses cheerful Djinn to his advantage, and falls in love with Princess Jasmine.

The show is produced by Applause Entertainment and Sagar Arts. It showcases new and vivacious talent in the face of Mandar playing Aladdin, Nazea Hasan as Princess Jasmine and Ranvijay Razdan of Kasamh Se and Kaisa Yeh Pyaar fame who plays the wicked Jafer.
