Alia Bhatt says she used to perform for her grandparents every Sunday

Here's her revelation

Alia Bhatt has done some fabulous work in Bollywood and has impressed everyone with her act in films like Raazi, 2 States, and Dear Zindagi. Her latest film, Gully Boy, has done wonders at the box-office and her character of Safeena has been hailed as well. Recently, the actress did an interview with Harper's Bazaar India for their tenth-anniversary edition and during that, she disclosed that she used to perform in front of her grandparents every Sunday as a kid.

She said, "I used to perform every Sunday for my grandparents. Even if they didn't want to watch me, they had to. I'm very competitive and I did everything from college theatre, to debate, to elocution." Talking about the best part of her acting profession, Alia further added, "Getting to live different lives, learn every day. You evolve as you play more parts, as you speak someone else's thoughts. I love being on a set with everyone, all of us working towards the same project."

The actress went on to state, "I love the power of cinema. You might be feeling down one day and you'll go watch a movie to feel better. Sometimes you may learn something about your own life watching a film."
