Alia Bhatt Rejected SS Rajamouli's Lead Role Offer? Close Source Spills the Beans...

Alia Bhatt has been working hard for the past few months and now she is all set to make her Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus RRR which stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. 

Alia has been making it to the headlines for all the right reasons but a few reports suggested that she has opted out of the SS Rajamouli’s project. Now the makers have clarified about the same dismissing rumors of her departure.

A report in the International Business Times quoted a source saying Alia has not opted out of the film. The source further added that she will join the sets from May.

“Alia is working for RRR and she will be joining the sets of the film in the month of May. 75% of the film has been completed already and Alia plays a key role in the remaining 25%. The film is shaping up really well and makers are happy with it,” the source said.

If we are to go by the rumors, NTR and Charan play brothers in the modern-day portion and will be seen as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju in the period portion which will be the flashback episode.

The previous reports stated that Jr. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan will be playing Alluri Sitharama Raju. The film will also star Samuthirakani in a crucial role and Alia will be paired with Ram Charan while a foreign actress will be paired with NTR.

The film is all set to release in ten Indian languages on January 8, 2021, and the producer has also informed that it would elevate the stature of Telugu cinema even further after Baahubali.
