The duo has been seen sharing the screen space in the advertisements but, this will be the first time for them to pair up for a feature film.

The film is a biopic inspired by the lives of two rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. The film is being helmed by Zoya Akhtar and co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Zoya's recently launched banner Tiger Baby.

Currently, Alia is in London to celebrate her sister Shaheen Bhatt's birthday. According to a leading tabloid, they will be staying in London until the end of this month. Before making her way to London, Alia and Ranveer even had a meeting in Zoya Akhtar's office for their upcoming film together. They will start shooting for their next in January 2018.

It will be interesting to see the duo in a film together as their commercials have been much appreciated by the audiences.

Reportedly, the dialogues will be written by Zoya's brother Farhan Akhtar. While it will be the second time that Ranveer will be collaborating with Zoya and Farhan after Dil Dhadakne Do whereas, Alia will be working for the first time with the trio.
