Seldom did few expect Zee TV's underdog show, Piyaa Albela to go on and become a resounding success the way it did. The show was launched with barely any promotions and relatively new faces in the form of actors, Akshay Mhatre and Sheen Das.

However, only a while, the show went on to become a mammoth success and the leading pair, Akshay and Sheen aka Naren and Pooja became one of the most loved on-screen couples. Of course, it has been a while since Piyaa Albela went off-air and only till now, both the leading actors weren't seen in any other TV projects yet.
