'Bachchhan Paandey', Akshay Kumar's forthcoming flick, is all set to release in theatres soon. The actor recently emphasised the potential impact of 'RRR's' release on the box office performance of his film.
In an interview with a news site, Akshay stated that numerous films will collide as a result of the outbreak. He believes that each film will have an impact on the others. Furthermore, he stated that the film's box office is declining by 30% to 40%. While the actor thinks it's unfortunate, he emphasises that it's a subject that needs to be handled.
In addition, Akshay described how the film was released despite barely half the theatres being full. It had an effect on the film, according to him, but he had to accept it. Furthermore, he predicted that reestablishing normalcy would take another year or more.
During the pandemic, Akshay released two films: 'Bell Bottom' and 'Sooryavanshi.' The latter was a box-office smash upon its premiere on Diwali in 2021. In the film, Ajay Devgn played Singham and Ranveer Singh played Simmba, and Katrina Kaif played the lead.
Meanwhile, the key parts in 'Bachchhan Paandey' are played by Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, and Jacqueline Fernandez. It will be released in theatres on March 18. On the other hand, SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' is set to hit theatres on March 25.
