Akshay Kumar starrer KESARI's set turns into ashes

Akshay Kumar has been keeping busy shooting for his upcoming film, "Kesari" for a while now.

According to the close sources, the actor was shooting for a war scene today in Wai, which is a town in Satara district. However, the fire suddenly broke-out post the shoot and fortunately no one from the set is found injured but, unfortunately, the entire set of the film is destroyed badly and turned into ashes. Moreover, the team was about to shoot for the last 10 days of this month. Well, it is being said that it all happened when the actor left the set.

And now, with this unfortunate event, the makers will have to rebuild the entire set to shoot some last few sequences of the film.

Talking about the film, Kesari is a war drama based on the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against the Afghans in 1897. It stars Akshay and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles and is directed by Anurag Singh.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on Holi 2019.
