Akshay Kumar in Sasural Genda Phool

It's scintillating time for the entire unit of Star Plus very popular show Sasural Genda Phool as they will be now sharing the screen space with the Khiladi himself, Akshay Kumar.

Our Khabroo tells us that, "Akshay Kumar will be seen in an episode of Sasural Genda Phool through which he will be promoting upcoming film Khatta Meetha.

The channel had approached Akshay to make a brief appearance and the latest is that actor has given his nod. He will be seen mingling with the Kashyap family and surely viewers can expect a fabulous episode with some light moments."

If sources are to be believed the actor will be shooting on 18th July, he will be incorporated in the story line keeping the basic flavor of the show in mind.

When contacted, a bubbly Ragini Khanna said, "Yes, I have also heard of this and I'm excited to share screen space with Akshay Kumar. He's a great person and I admire him for his hard work. We are waiting to shoot with him.

As we all know Akshay Kumar will also be seen hosting the reality show Master Chief India on Star Plus in the coming month.

Khatta Meetha is a comedy flick, starring Akhay Kumar and south actress Trisha in the lead role and the film is releasing on July 23.

Guess Sasural Genda Phool's already rising TRP is all set to reach a new high.
