Akshay Kumar celebrates 16 years of 'Welcome' with exclusive glimpse from 'Welcome to the Jungle' sets

Bollywood's Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, recently delighted fans with a sneak peek from the sets of 'Welcome to the Jungle' on his social media. Adding to the excitement, the actor also marked the 16th anniversary of the hit film 'Welcome' in a post where he welcomed Sanjay Dutt to the franchise.

In the video, Akshay welcomes Sanjay Dutt by riding a horse, while Dutt makes a stylish entry on a bullet bike. Expressing his joy, Akshay wrote, "What a lovely coincidence that we celebrate 16 years of #Welcome today while I am shooting for the franchise’s third part #WelcomeToTheJungle. And it’s wonderful to welcome Sanju Baba in this one. What do you think?"

Known for his playful camaraderie, Akshay recently attended his wife Twinkle Khanna's book launch event, where a viral video captured his attempt to put her in a spot. However, Mrs. Funnybones stole the limelight with her witty response and even shared a sweet note for him.

On the professional front, Akshay was last seen in 'Mission RaniGanj.' His upcoming projects in 2023 include the official remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' and 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat,' marking his Marathi debut. Currently shooting for 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' alongside Tiger Shroff, Akshay has also commenced filming for multiple projects set to release in 2024, including the much-awaited 'Hera Pheri' sequel.
