Akshay Kumar beats Jackie Chan; becomes highest paid actor on Forbes’ List 2019!

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has secured the fourth position on the Forbes’ List of 2019 as one of the highest paid actor with the earning of $68 million (approximately Rs 486 crore) in the year June 2018-June 2019. Last seen in Mission Mangal, which has earned more than Rs. 100 crore in the past six to seven days, Khiladi Kumar has been working non-stop for the past few years. 

With delivering multiple hits in a single year, Akshay has several films in the pipeline. He recently completed the work on Good News where he will reunite with Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. He is currently working on Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif and also has Bacchan Pandey, Laxmmi Bomb and Housefull 4 in his kitty. 

While he reprises his role in the fourth film of the hit franchise, Housefull, Laxmmi Bomb is likely to feature him as a cross-dressing ghost.

Apart from the 52-year-old actor, Hollywood actors Dwayne Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd and Will Smith have also featured in the same list. Apart from Akki, actor Jackie Chan is one of the actors who do not work in Hollywood. 

As per the list, Dwayne Johnson also known as The Rock tops the Forbes List by collecting $89.4 million. Australian Chris Hemsworth bagged the second spot with $76.4 million. After the Thor star, Robert Downey Jr. known for portraying the iconic marvel superhero Iron Man earned $66 million.
