Akshay & Aishwarya Honored with Padmashri

March 31st, 2009 adds on another achievement in the long list of accomplishments for Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as they received the Padmashri award for their contribution to the Indian Cinema in New Delhi.

The entire Bachchan family and Twinkle Khanna attended the function as proud family members of the recipients!  

Aishwarya has made her name all over the world.   She's a very talented actress and also the first Indian actress to represent Bollywood in the West.  She's considered one of the most beautiful women in the world.  Recently in Pink Panther, Aish has made fans even in Hollywood!  Akshay is the golden boy of Bollywood.  Even though Chandni Chowk to China didn't create the magic, Akshay is know for his previous releases have been huge hits!  Not to forget, he also has a huge fan following from the television industry as he was the invincible host of Fear Factor.  

Bollywood's two sweethearts receive one of the most esteemed honors, and we congratulate both of them for their achievements!
