Actress Ahmareen on shooting jungle sequence for RRR: It was challenging yet adventurous

Actress Ahmareen Anjum, who is getting immense appreciation and love for her performance in the film RRR, got talking to India Forums about her experience of shooting in a real jungle while also talking about the preparation she needed to get into the character.

Talking about her experience of shooting in an actual jungle, Ahmareen says, 

"The experience of shooting in nature was as overwhelming as it was adventurous. Shooting in an unusual location was challenging yet adventurous. We shot in an actual jungle and the experience of shooting was so thrilling. To shoot under the open sky and greenery is something different. I ran up and down the hill, doing action scenes. There was no network in the jungle. We couldn't connect with anyone, so our complete focus was on the performance. It was such a brilliant experience to shoot under different circumstances. Getting to do action scenes in the jungle gave me an adrenaline rush."

Talking about the preparation she needed to get into the character, she said, 

"I researched a lot about the Gond tribe and the way they speak, walk, everything. It was an emotionally driven character, so I wanted to rely on my emotions. I wanted it all to look real and the truth to come out. So I did my best with a mixture of preparation and spontaneity."

Ahmareen is an actress popularly known for her role in the movies Sir, The Class of 83, among others and is currently being praised for her role of Loki in the blockbuster movie RRR.

RRR is a movie starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Ahmareen Anjum, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris, among others. The movie was released on 25 March 2022.
