I don't look at the Budget with too many expectations but with anticipations. I am excited about the budget because it determines many things in our lives. It unfolds some sort of the plan that Government has for the country, but I don't have any expectations. Whatever, they choose to do is in their capacity. I hope they balance everything, it's a tough task all the best to them.

I hope there is a realistic rise in the rebate. It is middle class families who suffer the most, with automobile, house EMIs, home rents, high public school and tuition fee and they hope for a small budget holiday is like once in a blue moon for them. I hope things are positive for middle class families. The needs of people should be kept in mind. Then social protection for women and poor people should be the attention. In short people expect government to progress.

Representing a common middle class house wife, I expect food and other commodities including gas and fuel to be more cheap. Even for perishable items like vegetables and fruits.

I am really expecting a lot from this year's budget and tomorrow hopefully, I have an off so I am going to watch the budget. I feel we pay lot of taxes and the tax paying system is also very complicated so, it should be simplified.
