'Aapki life mein bhi ek Jhanak aani chaiye': Chandni Sharma on her character Arshi's OBSESSION with Anirudh

Jhanak's Chandni Sharma recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and spoke about her character going from a career oriented, strong headed woman to someone who goes to any level for the sake of a boy. Speaking about the same, the actress describes the journey of her character in the show.

''Arshi's character in Jhanak started off as a really strong character and I liked it that way. She was a strong woman. Yes, she was always obsessed with her fiance and I think that is fine. But you tell me one thing, where is she wrong? Like her own sister and her fiance betray her. She is engaged to a boy and cut to she comes to know that her sister gets married to him. How will Arshi react? Further speaking about Jhanak, Chandni adds, ''I mean, wo ladki mere sasural mein reh rahi hai and then I am always catching my fiance with that girl, toh usko kaisa lagna chaiye? According to me, Arshi should have left the moment she learnt of Anirudh cheating on her, then itna drama hota hi nahi. Real life mein agar mere sath aisa hota toh main toh chhod hi deti. Par ye ek TV show hai. Yaha logo ko drama dekhna pasand hai, agar yaha Arshi chhod kar naye ladke ke paas chali jaati, toh drama kaise hota? I think in real life also, sometimes when you are cheated on, you forgive the other person if he is really sorry, I think women are like this. Agar ladka genuinely apologetic hai, toh maaf kar dena chaiye ye soch kar ke companion toh acha hai.''
