The latest TRP (Television Rating Point) report is out, and the race for the top five spots has taken an interesting turn this week. While some fan favorites continue to hold their ground, others have seen a surprising shift in positions and performance. Here's a detailed breakdown of the top 5 shows for the week:
Anupamaa, 2.0 points ( drop from 2.1 last week):

Star Plus’s popular drama Anupamaa continues to dominate the TRP charts, securing the number one position once again. However, the show has seen a slight dip in ratings, falling from 2.1 to 2.0 this week. Despite the marginal decline, the show’s current storyline and loyal viewer base keep it firmly at the top. The current track of the show revolves around Anu beggining a new journey in Mumbai, away from the Shahs and the Kotharis and the kind of turmoil she then goes through.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, 1.9 Points (drop from 1.8 last week):

In a notable shift, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has reclaimed the second spot on the list, surpassing Udne Ki Aasha. With a small but significant rise from 1.8 to 1.9 points, the long-running series proves its enduring popularity and strong connect with audiences. The current track of the show revolves around Abhira finally meeting her daughter, however, she remains unaware of the fact that she is her daughter. On the other hand, Armaan, who sees Abhira after 7 years, fears losing his daughter Maira again.
Udne Ki Aasha, 1.9 Points (drop from 1.8 last week):

Despite showing a slight increase in ratings from 1.8 to 1.9, Udne Ki Aasha slips to the third position this week. The show’s narrative continues to attract viewers, but it couldn’t quite keep up with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's upward momentum. Udne Ki Aasha is led by Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora and the show remains one of the most loved shows on the channel.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, 1.7 Points (drop from 1.6 last week):

The evergreen comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah holds steady at number four with improved ratings. Its TRP has moved up from 1.6 to 1.7 this week, reflecting a consistent viewership and the show's nostalgic value among fans. The current track of the show revolves around the members of Gokuldham heading for a picnic to a holiday home, unaware of the fact that the place is haunted.
Advocate Anjali Awasthi, 1.5 Points (Re-entry):

Marking a strong comeback, Advocate Anjali Awasthi re-enters the top 5 rankings, claiming the fifth spot with 1.5 points. The show has managed to surpass Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehad Shehad, which starred Abrar Qazi, and has clearly struck a chord with the audience yet again.
Apart from the above mentioned shows, Jhanak, post leap has maintained its stand on the 9th spot, however, the ratings of the show have seen a slight dip. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin continues its downward spiral and has seen another blow in its ratings. On the other hand, Laughter Chefs 2 maintains its stand in the top 10 race. While the newly released Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shehad Shehad has seen a significant fall in the second week, Colors TV's Noyontara has secured the 12th spot.
This week’s TRP chart highlights a mix of consistency and shifting dynamics, with Anupamaa holding its top spot despite a slight dip, reaffirming its emotional grip on viewers. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s rise to second place shows the enduring appeal of legacy dramas when paired with fresh storytelling, while Udne Ki Aasha remains a strong contender, reflecting the audience’s growing interest in relatable, grounded narratives. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to benefit from its evergreen comedy format, proving that familiarity still holds value. The re-entry of Advocate Anjali Awasthi into the top five signals a renewed appetite for female-led legal dramas, indicating a slow but steady shift in viewer preferences toward more diverse and bold content offerings.
