Every member have the right to post what ever they want to and post views on any contestant (even those they dont like), BUT BUT BUT, without any bashing/attacks.. Mostly what happends is, whenver anyone post anything on an other contestant, the contestants fans takes it as attack and thats when bashing starts..

I wanna say, whenever u post any healthy discussion and feels bashing has started, but by others, REPORT it, DO NOT reply to those comments as it will lead to looong bashing, which will result in u too bash at the end and maybe get Warning..

This not only count the one making discussions on their VOP but also those who dont like to see Views or critisize on their Fav Contestant. Everyone got the rights to make discussion, even on those contestant they dont like, UNTIL no bashing or attacks happends..

Again as Modissh said, If u cant stand an contestant, simply stay out of topics containing the contestant, why bother enter it and spend time on useless bashing.

And also said was, that its an open forum, so everyone can enter, YES,but if u are here in mood to bash then just simply stay away, we want healthy discussion and views.

And members who are seen bashing all the time will get their WL raised without warning first.

And Im sure a lot already made MIDS, incase those MIDs will be banned and WL of the following member will be raised.

To THose who are here for discussion and fun, I dont think u guys should be scared or anything,keep discussing and have fun and f u see anything wrong REPORT it, without going further into it. This way t will help the DT too, so they'llget easy to see who is bashing and trash the foloowing topics, in threads where everyone keeps replying to bashing statements, it result in us closing or trashing the whole topic, as we cant spend days on trashing every single post..

I was generally speaking that if I am not a great fan of any actor on this show, I would not go into their Appreciation thread because I know all his/her fans go there and the only thing I would see there would be that actor's appreciations, criticism being highly unlikely.

Agreed all abuse/derogatory remarks on both member/contenstants should not be allowed.

But I was wondering why do we have these custom made rules for this forum ? Like only fans can post in AT. Why do I have to be a fan to appreciate someone ? 😕 Also some people are denied entries in AT and when we open up our own AT , then gets closed too 😕 Public forum should allow anyone to post anywhere and if posts are offensive then TM or members should report them.

Also not posting about what you dislike on the show is like taking out one's freedom of speech. That defeats the very purpose of existance of the forum. Like in debate mention forum, we see people disagreeing/criticizing others views but discussion in itself are very healthy as long as members are matured.

I think probably there must be global IF rules that applies to all forums on IF and we should follow them.

Thank anways ....let me go back to my healthy discussion on main forum 😛

Moddish is doing a great job considering number of reported posts by strong fan bases 😛 I am sure there too much in her plate atm as she is alone on DT team ? 😳

Exactly, that's what my point is... I am not anyone's fan, but there will definitely be times when I might actually like some contestant and would like to discuss them... For example, I really liked how Annie jumped over the big balls, where do I go n discuss it... I am not her fan, but I want to discuss it. U r making a generalization here that everyone who's not a fan would try to instigate the fans!!! Yes, please don't put words into my mouth either... I just want u to be fair enough, when some non-fans are allowed in some ATs then why aren't other non-fans allowed...And why do the AT Creators send out PMs to those members asking them to behave themselves... ???

Thanks.. I have encountered some people for whom Constructive Criticism = Nasty and cheap remarks to mock at someone and then they call themselves Constructive Critics😆

I must copy paste the IF definition of Constructive Criticism here..

Constructive criticism means criticism or advice that is useful and intended to help or improve something, often with an offer of possible solutions

a) if someone breaks a rule, don't they usually get three verbal/pm warning first, and then an increas in a WL... they don't get banned directly... as far as i am aware of how the warning system works...!!

b) if you are not a fan, why would you want to be in a fan club, or an AT... we have plenty of topics for discussions, where we can normally discuss... if the fans want to spend their time forming a mandir for their favs, who really cares... i can never be all fangirly for anyone, so AT's as far as i am concerned, as useless place for me to discuss... note: i am not saying AT's are useless... i'm saying they are for me, as i don't think i belong in that group... so really, why is there such a fuss by the 'non-fans', that they are not being allowed in the AT's... why do you want to be in the AT, to begin with...??

c) thanks for the rules... to me, they are fair enough...

d) one thing i'd like to point out is, that members should not take for granted that others aren't allowed in the thread (their AT's) and use it as a bashing ground to take out their frustrations on other members... just because others are not allowed, why take so much offense that others are 'stalking' their thread... just because they are getting caught breaking the rules... i hope this is dealt with strictly....!!

e) i think some of the members need to relax a little bit... mods are also humans... they take time out of their schedules to do this... they can't edit each and every single post... i do hope the warnings have been sent out to the members who did break the rules... but others should know that that information is usually not supposed to be revealed by the mods... that's one reason why we can't see each other's warning levels... it's good in a way, and bad in a way too... good because it gives you a chance to improve and you are not haunted by your past reputation... 😛😛😛 bad, because sometimes we don't know whether action has been taken or not... however, overall i think it's quite fair enough... it works both ways....!

This rules count for every forum, but mostly not needed in forums which are calm. Bcs of cons, bashing we need to make harder rules. Non-fans can also post in AT; but once it all starts to be bashing we need to make rules like this. About making AT getting closed, reason can only be there is already one up of the following contesttant and only AT is allowed.
