The MIL is one the worst mother I've seen in itv🤢 Not only she belittles verbally kabir she even physically abuses him🤢 first throwing chappal and now slapping him for sth he's not at fault for. With each passing epi she hits a new low!

Seriously. This woman give me some serious headache. She is too loud and her expressions are OTT. They need to tone her down or change the actress. Her behaviour and attitude towards Kabir is troublesome.

Seriously? Who slaps and throw chappal at a grown up son like that?

I just wish for some fierce clash between MIL and Pritam . He will be the one to give her some serious competition. I am sure their relationship is going to be rockiest of all.

Kabir calling her step mother really doesn't feel unwarranted, it really feels so. It seems she only loves karan, not her other three children.

While I understand, his loss would've really hurt her and she missed him but I absolutely hate how she tries to find karan in her two other sons. She needs to get it that they're not karan, they are different people.

Her behaviour with Kabir is absolutely awful. Those scenes are so-called comedy but it's really nothing just degrading her own son. She as a character, really has anger management issues.

Exactly! Good that at least the FIL said sth to her about her slapping and shouting on kabir today tho he too later blamed kabir.

@b oh for sure! She has a problem with her own other two sons kabir and angad for not being like karan. With pritam she’ll feel threatened thinking he’s trying to take karan’s place in amrita-babys’ life. MIL will be against Amrita-pritam for sure!

Absolutely right! Not only kabir she behaves awfully with Angad too albeit a lil less than Kabir. But her behaviour with Angad is also problematic imo. She didn’t even bother to talk to angad about how he must be feeling about the Meera drama and neither tried to once make him feel better regarding his job loss. Instead when he was trying to grieve and talk about those issues with Amrita-Kabir the nimmo shut him down so rudely 🤬

@b this needs to be addressed in the show! Even Amrita should also stop telling Angad-Kabir they are like Karan.

Another thing which is irritating me..why is everyone in the show hell bent on making the two sons "Karan"...First it was Nimmo and yesterday it was Amrita herself. If you have 3 children in the house and the eldest is a successful doctor/engineer.. life becomes a struggle for the other two children to duplicate the first one's marks. Everyone is different and in a society where we need to support children to accept their own individuality and uniqueness we have the entire family pressurising Kabir and Angad "earn" as handsomely as their late Doctor brother in the middle of a pandemic and recession.

Same...I can't with the 'become like Karan' drama... Nimmo might be the main antagonist in the show . I'm feeling it..and if she's not then God help us I can't stand her. While she's mentally harrassing her kids and physically abusing Kabir in the pretence of grieving for her dead son she's forgetting that those two lost a sibling and she has a pregnant daughter in law who lost her husband.

FIL vibrate like a pendulum to and fro. I don't understand what he truly thinks.

I believe she will be the villain in Amrita Pritam's story. More than that she will be against Pritam's rowdy attitude . Overall the pressure will be on Amrita as she is the peacemaker in this family. I am already worried about her sanity.
