So between the large family of our FL and the family Angad is about to get married into and the mohallah mei neighbors, and interactions, I am not going to lie, it’s way way too many characters to keep track of.

While I love love an ensemble cast, I am always vary of so many, because sometimes so many is just too many. Right now, everyone seems lovely and the only greys are Angad’s to be FIL. I was pleased to see an Appa character but I was so so hoping for her to be a namaz yet progressive woman, the dialogue upar se choli pehni padti hai after she finishes her namaaz jarred a bit, when makers have so many characters, they have to be fair to each, Make them distinctive, but layered, not use usual tropes like conventional, or modern or whatever.

the scene between our doctor hero and his wife was beautiful. Just old fashioned romance which has those lovely touches, hits the spot for me. I was already over the whole Dolly Kabir saga even before it began.

I am not going to lie, I am waiting for the heroes entry, in the meantime, I hope we get more meaningful scenes instead of too much mish mash! But I will be patient, laying the stage is always tough, and ITV storytelling comes with its limitations

The doc and his wife are sooo much of mush.... I got teeny tiny weepy yday an today. It just looks un fair that u loose a family in such circumstances....

Male lead looks interesting... Let's see how that pans out!!!!

Since it is too new, it's more of let's figure out who all and what all scenario!!!!

agree Gayatri, it’s always tough to sort of mill through so many characters in the beginning few episodes. If this is an Amrita Pritam story, I wish they right in the beginning had introduced Pritam’s side too, even if he has no family, he has to have some side kicks, people he works with, his world, this is where ITV always fails, they get into the family trope so hard, that some of us are like rolling our eyes in third episode itself.

Yeah I agree there are way too many extra characters. I mean love interests for all siblings are fine but their families too, seems like a bit extra. Meera’s dad, aapa and two siblings were introduced in this episode. Hopefully they balance it properly. I too would love more meaningful scenes instead of many characters.. like the scene where Amrita does her MIL’s first aid and the MIL asks her if she won’t say anything. Amritha asks her to move on but her MIL asks her if she could. Such a short and simple scene but it touched me. Also all the flashbacks are good. First week or two might be confusing .. let’s see how they take it further.

IKR.... That ITV as usual.

But u know, I dnt want a amrita pritam love story... I want a friendship, companionship sort of equation..... Everything need not be with the love angle.

And if they do, them hopefully it is dealt with gracefully. Amrita will be a single parent an she loat her husband. He did not go MIA or anything... There is death.

I think I am expecting too much from ITV as well 🙈🙈😁

WHAT?!?!?! Nahiiii!!!!

I want oodles and oodles of romance, no two ways about it. I want him to fall for her like crazy, and never show it, hate himself for it, hate her for it. While she oblivious in her niceness and loveliness kills him with goodness and patience, it has all the ingredients of that kind of a love story!!! Jane Eyre and Rochester 💗💗🥰🥰😍😍😍. She talking about her husband, and he rolling his eyes and then cussing himself that he will never be good enough for her.

😆 I have a love-hate relationship with romance. Sometimes I like it sometimes I don’t want it. I’ll have to wait and watch their scenes to find out. I do want an ITV show where it doesn’t end with romance just like Tamanna but no matter what, they are going to show a love story here and I’m fine with it. I’m a fan of gradual romance instead of intense romance, although gradual romance can also be intense. So I guess we kind of differ in opinion😆

as much as all of that looks fancy, justice needs to be done for the same. And with ITV, they end up making it look like teenage hormones induced weirdness. If that is avoided, it will be great.

It's like opposites attract..... He will become more calm and collected on his ways and she may get lil daring for few things.

Let's see wat comes up.
