With a lifeless body he entered his room. Accompanied by his buttler Awara and brother Vicky. Vicky made him sit on his bed, while Awara rolled in his suitcases. His face expressed only his respires. Vicky left him by gently patting his shoulders. He was still lost that he didn't reciprocate. He was back to his senses when Awara closed the door nd left. He roamed his eyeballs all around. tears wettened his rough stubble. Even his salivary glands failed to moisten his dried throat. With no food and water for the past 48 hours...he was completely drained out. His tears gestured that he is still alive...even his breaths were short. He crawled onto the bed like a toddler inhaling her scent that still persisted on the pillows. He let out a loud cry tightly holding the pillow. And wept on the pillow sandwiched between his face and knees...in fetal position. He wept..and wept until the pillow was completely soaked in the wetness of tears. His tear glands paused its secretion then. His drowsy eyes focused its vision on the infinity wall. Her talks, wails, laughs...everything reverberated in the room. Her cute pouts, antics, apologies... filled the walls like a canvas. An hour passed...still he couldn't blink or dilate his pupils. His inner trauma and turmoil inflicted the most severe headache. Ultimately guiding towards a sleepless night for him. His throat dried up welcoming a thirst that can never be quenched. He was getting restless hypnotised by extreme waves of depression. He couldn't handle it anymore. And got up uttering a loud cry pulling out his hairs vigorously out of frustration. He wept by tightly biting his fingers like a toddler.
"Thud"..the door opened wide startling him. She stood there holding a platter with her ever winning smile. He pretended to appear normal then turning away to hide his tears. She approached him while he kept on admiring her. After placing the platter on the side table she held his hands. He shoves her away in anger and nears the washroom. Changing into his nightwears he steps out of the washroom. He could vividly catch her awaiting glance via the mirror. But he ignored her.
Fizzz...the sound broke the usual silence of his room when the cork of the whiskey bottle was pulled out with his trembling hands. Loosely gripping the wine glass with one..he held the bottle with the other. The reflection of her smiling face filled his eyes. He couldn't hold it anymore nd it fell down..shattered fine glass particles embraced the floor carpet. He gulped the liquor in an attempt to melt the molten fire in his soul. She hugged him from behind and cried her heart out unable to withstand his turmoil.
He took a deep breath to calm himself nd drifted away from her. She uttered his name pouring out all her love. He turns back with his eyes that shone with tears. She stood there holding the same intensity in her eyes, spreading her arms widely as of welcoming him...

lag ja gale
(Hug or Embrace me)
He ran to her embrace sharing the most desiring bone-crushing hug. Tightly pulling her onto him. Sniffing her scent greedily. Cajoling her cheeks and grazing her soft petals. Relishing her features with his sore lips, for which he had been craving for long. She palmed his cheeks absorbing the wetness of his pain. Sucking his tears while tightly clutching his t-shirt. He kept his eyes shut feeling the intensity. It was heavenly traversal of her soft petals on his face. He tightly gripped her by waist nd dipped his face in her scented hairlocks. " Me..Me.Mehak...he moans her name in a feeble cry. She caressed his nape as of pacifying him. Rubbed his stubble with all love, making sounds while inhaling his manly perfume umpteen times. Aaah..she was driving him crazy. Craving more for her and her love that poured out like a stream of magic. He hugged her more tightly as the thought of seperation wavered his mind. Caressing her intricate curves frenzied by his obsession. She tried to pull back herself forcing him to look at her. Being agitated by her move, he retorted...stumbling on the floor mat he landed near the glass pieces. Vaguely examining the drop of blood oozing out from his pointer. He was already suffering the worst pain of his life...this couldn't make any difference. Without removing the pierced glass piece he exclaimed how silly is this pain. The second moment she ran to his aid. Not like her previous notions of nursing him. More than care and concern he could see hurt in her eyes. Yes she was deeply hurt seeing him in pain. Like a helpless child he studied her face while she gently removed the glass piece. She was about to suck out the blood from his finger. Before resuming her work she looked at him intently. His eyes gleamed with content of owing the privilege to be cared by his lady love. Will he get the same care from here on?...his eyes put forth the question before her. To answer him bluntly she needed much courage. But she couldn't..well the answer was not in his favour. His eyes begged for an answer, accompanied by his heartwrenching sobs. Blinking back her tears, she looked at him affectionately. Within a flicker of a second, her eyes changed its equation deeply hypnotising his dark ones, while she filled her hairline with his forefinger, closing her eyes to feel the moment. Even his blood was destined to mark her. An unusual glow emanated from her gleaming eyes. She sneaked her arms around his neck pulling him closer to her. He roamed his eyeballs. But hers were fixed. A gaze highly intense that demanded meeting his eyes , nothing more. The wanting she demanded by pulling him more. He could have happily dived into the ocean of her captivating eyes. But at present it was different. Her touch had a severe intensity that can't be measured. The vibe was different. The air that filled her breaths was different. Being an ardent admirer of his life he obeyed her syncing her eye contact...

He couldn't get enough of her. Even seven births won't be enough for him to love her and be loved by her. But now, even seven seconds matters a lot. "Mehak..."he calls out her name amalgamating his pain and love. enough to break the threshold of her sensible heart beats. He caressed her cheeks wiping those precious tear droplets. He could judge that his pain is hurting her. But her tears hurt him to the core. He could hardly breath between his sobs. To comfort her by uttering sweet nothings was next to impossible. She wiped her tears never intending to deepen his fresh wounds. Throwing a painful glance at him she helped him to get up and neared the couch. She made him comfortable on the couch and approached him with the platter. Kneeling down before him she fed him with atmost love. Without objecting, he gently held her hands and ate silently. All the while marking her enticing features with his weak eyes. He initiated to feed her but she somehow managed to stop him. She held his chin lovingly as he drank water securely holding her hands nd the tumbler. She pleated the ends of her pale coloured saree and wiped his lips lovingly. He looked at her empty hands that dug out the fresh memories of the dreadful events of the past two days. He looked at her helplessly as she got up with the platter. As she got busy arranging the platter on the side table, he neared his suitcases and flipped one of them. Gently unlocking it with his cold palms, he breathed a heavy sigh. With his trembling palms he caressed the neatly folded clothes. Running his fingers evenly onto every single fabric of hers, his eyes showered endlessly. He caught hold of the designer potli bag that occupied a small corner between the layers of her scented dress. The one she was wearing when he marked her and made love to her, beneath the starlit sky in the glittering silver sand. He bends down to inhale her scent , leaving a tender kiss on her clothes, accompanied by the showers of tears. He got up gently nd approached her pouring out his love. She rested on the edge of the bed awaiting him. He smiled in between in his sobs as he knelt down before her holding the potli. Like a naive child he opened the potli, taking out the fresh packet of bangles. Red and green one. Yes the one he bought for her that night. He gave a heartwrenching smile as he shows it to her while he gestured her empty hands. With his trembling hands he unwrapped the cover. Before he could make her wear, she held his hand pitying him with her tear filled eyes justifying guilt. Her sympathetic glance broke him apart. He cried out loudly cursing his miserable condition. She couldn't take it any more and she took him to her embrace. He rested his head on her bosom and wept tightly hugging her. Her tears too joined his in unison. She showered endless kisses on his temple all the while ruffling his hairs with love. After a while, she made him look at her and gently wiped his tears. Affectionately caressing his cheeks she made him lie on her lap and patted his face gently putting him to sleep. ...

The creaking sound of the door knob startled him. Karuna, his mother neared him holding a platter. To her surprise he greeted her with a smile. "Sh..Shaurya...beta plz atleast now have your food"..the elderly lady said affectionately. "No maa...I had my dinner...Mehak fed me "...he said like an enthusiastic child. Karuna controlled her tears hearing him. " oh oh k..beta..plz have your food"...she pleaded in the brim of tears. "Maa I told you...I had my food..and slept on her lap maa..just wait ..I'll call Mehak..she will tell you...Mehak..Mehak.."..he blabbered like a lost soul. Karuna couldn't take it anymore and she broke down. "Maa ..why are you crying?...Am saying the truth ..see My Mehak is back...she was here"..he said while gently holding the old lady's arms. He narrated the whole events of the past one hour like a child. Karuna stood there dumbfounded pitying him. She lowered her head unable to meet his eyes. Sensing the emotional turmoil of his mother , he roamed his eyes around the room. There were no shattered glass pieces on the floor, suitcase occupied its orginal position, no potli bags or bangles on his bed, no wounds on his finger...and he was clad in the same white kurta...moreover his Mehak was nowhere in vicinity. The moment she filled her hairline with his blood still persisted in his eyes. He crawled onto the floor struck with reality. It was his dream. He broke down calling out her name loudly umpteen times. "Please return back to me Mehak ...please...I can't live without you..please come back"...he pleaded. Karuna bent down taking him into her arms suppressing her tears seeing her son devasted. She cursed god for snatching all the happiness from her son's life. He was a vulnerable widower now. The scene when he performed her daughter in law's last rites back in Rishikesh, pierced her heart more. Fearing the depth of the pain that has inflicted him. Karuna shouted out for Vicky, and when he joined them, she gestured him with her teary eyes. Disheartedly Vicky injected a sedation and Shaurya flinched in pain crying out her name..."Mehakkk". "Mehak is no more...she left us..baccha...plz try to understand ..plz.."...karuna begged while caressing his tears. "Nahi maa...she is alive..my Mehak won't leave me ...she "ll be back...she"ll be back to take me to her embrace"..he mumbled before the sedatives took over his senses.
