Poor Shaurya but can't tell that fate was unfair on him. he deserves this harsh punishment so that next time he will not repeat the same mistake when Mehek is with him.

Omg 👏 read both chapters at back to back and can't stop crying 😭 you captured the toughest moments of Mehrya's separation beautifully! The goodbye letters had me sobbing and can feel Meheks heartache and pain was alittle surprised no one did anything to try to find her or even tell SK about her disappearance sooner . Love the strong bond they formed after all the misunderstanding but sad that it took Meheks leaving them to realize this is how they should have always been 😔. have a strong feeling that Jaipur and its new business location will be the key to reuniting Mehrya. I'm left speechless excellent job can't wait to see what happens next

I had lain in bed this morning providing my fb only to hit the wrong key on my mobile and erased everything 😕 ...so here is my second attempt at this 😆.

I have vowed not to let this second story to get away from me like your first ( have yet to catch up) and so read both chapters this morning in bed. Hasseena, I love this take on the post marriage/ parents death reveal that you are spinning. More especially I totally get Mehek's stance and decision that she took to leave everyone. As the person most affected, none of the others even attempted to view the circumstances from her POV. It was heartbreaking that she could not find support (very little) from either side: only the demand to take the side of her family and being ostracised by the man she loves.

Chapter 2 was such an emotional ride. As much as SK deserved what he has reaped, one cannot help but still feel for him. He has finally ( as have the Sharmas) realized what he has lost. Living on his memories, he had managed day-to-day to get on, but is clearly a shell of himself. The irony that the circumstance have made him the son to his in-laws that he should have been is tremendous. I really love how you are showing this new equation between him and the Sharmas, now that both families are shattered by their missing loved one.

The futile search by a top notch detective is intriguing. Considering that SK would hire nothing but the best, Mehek's disappearance has me picking my brains: has she left the country or is she hiding in plain sight under an alias.
