Chapter 2
In the evening:
Mehek is tossing in her bed with a photo in her hands. I don't want to bother you anymore. If my absence gives peace to you then I will be hide from you, but I will know everything about you. I can't see hate towards me in your eyes which I want to be filled with love... Murmuring so she kept the photo close to her heart.
In the meanwhile Shaurya came to Sharma House. "Chachi he hollowed. Hearing his voice mehek rushed out of her room. Everything is changed expect few things he observed. Keeping the bags on the table which he brought for them; he went straight to kitchen. Shaurya called Chachi again, Kantha was surprised to see him there. Arrey Shaurya kab aaya hai thu? ( when did you came) Just now he replied. Looking at the stove, What are you doing chachi he asked. Making some snacks thum jake chchu se bath karo, main chai lekar aathi hoon ( you go meet chachu I will come with tea) he excitedly neared her saying chachi aaj chai main banatha hoon aap sab mere liye intazar kijiye (chichi today I will prepare tea for all of you, please wait for me) No No You don't need to do this said Kantha. NO chichi your son is back now. Ithana tho kar saktha hoon na ap ke liye. So please don't stop me today he literally made her go out of kitchen. "Okay but only for today Kantha agreed smilingly patting his shoulder. " Thank you cahchi, you go and sit I will be there in 5 minutes with special tea. Mehek is watching this all from the top floor hiding behind a pillar. I can't understand him, he talks very sweetly with all except me. I didn't understand What I did to him. She thinks to herself. After few minutes he came with tea & snacks (which kantha prepared) kantha served to Jeevan and Shaurya . sipping the tea his eyes roamed the whole house once again. He handed the gifts which he brought. In sab ki kya jarrorath thi beta ?( whats the need of all this) Jeevan said while taking the gift bag. " I brought them with love cahchu nothing else he said. Mehek looked curiously for her gift . She thought he will may hand it to chachi but he gave one bag only. She felt upset. His eyes again searching for mehek but he didn't get any glimpse of her. After some chitchat he left with sad face. Turning back 'He even did not ask anyone about me. Why he is like this with me. So much hate or should I call it attitude. A lone tear dropped down her cheeks. When she kept her eyes closed suddenly she felt a drag on her foot. Mehek opened her eyes to look down , its a puppy. Mehek took it in her hands 'Oo my puppy did you saw him? We both always follows him but he never cares for us.' She shared her pain with puppy while sootihing its back. For the past five years we missed him so much but he left us alone like we are nothing to him and never called for onece. I sent him a chain on his first day of career. He received that but I don't know whether he wore it or not. She came down greeted chachi, where this gifts from she asked behaving she saw them just then only. 'Shaurya brought them.' a reply came from kitchen. 'Where is mine then? ' she shouted. 'Don't know, Go ask him.' annoyed with chachi's answer making a cute pout she headed towards kitchen she saw the a cup of tea left there. She remembered shaurya making tea is it for me? She wondered. she took the cup and gulped it. "Hmmm. When did he learned making tea this much tasty." She enjoyed drinking it.
Few hours passed
Mehek slept after puppy slept . A restless Shaurya pacing all over his room. He smiled when a thought come into his mind. He waited for the time to turn into full dark . He slowly entered Sharma House by crossing walls. He made sure all are sleeping peacefully in their rooms. He headed towards the meheks room The door is slight open he saw a sleeping figure hugging her pillows tightly. Her face was covered with blanket. He made his steps towards her side. " I didn't saw you since five years. Even I came to see you in the evening; but I couldn't see you. I'm getting restless to catch a glimpse of yours, So finally when I came to see you; you covered yourself with blanket. This is not fair Darling. I have to see you right now. " He thought what to do now.. I don't want to wake up you and make a scene here. Shaurya looked here and there, then her face. His hands slowly reached to her face carefully removed the blanket . To his surprise she kept her left thumb in her mouth like a child. She has a habit of keeping finger in mouth especially while sleeping. It made him laugh lil. He was mesmerized by her beauty. She grew more beautifull these years, but did not left her childish habit he thought. He was about to touch her he heard some noise near her room. He immediately hide behind the bed. After few seconds he heard puppy sounds then he lift his face to see a puppy there. He felt relaxed. Releasing her finger mehek made a cute face when puppy scratched on her hand. "Puppy Let me sleep some more time, tomorrow I have to make breakfast for him before he wakes up. If he finds me in his kitchen he will deafneatly scolds me. She said adjusting herself more in her sleep. Laughing on her words he took the puppy away from her.
Heading to his balcony while soothing the puppy on his back "so this is the matter. She just playing hide and seek game with me , I will see her tomorrow saying so he slept thinking about her.
It's morning 5:30 now. Shaurya jerked when his alarm made its sound. He rushed towards the kitchen. Seeing the kitchen lights on, he smiled heavily taking a long breath he made baby steps entering the kitchen. When he saw Mehek busy with her work, he have a mischievous smile on his lips. He slowly came near her caged her in his arms from back. The moment She felt two strong arms around her waist, She got shocked and dropped the dish which she was holding in her hands. Good morning he said in his hot and lazy voice while resting his chin on her shoulder... naashtha bana rahi kya ( are you preparing breakfast for me) She had goose bumps all over her body realizing whoz the owner of this manly touch and hot voice, she lost herself for a moment. Does he know I'm here, what to do now. She was tensed. When there is no response he snuggled more in the crook of her neck. She slowly removed his hands from her waist and Matharani please save me, she sent a silent prayer then turned to face him lowering her gaze. "You what are you doing here in this time? " he asked in angry tone rubbing his eyes like an innocent..
