She gulped to moisten her throat. She made her steps towards hall but its too late. He caught her wrist and stopped her "Stop, answer me what are you doing here why are you running like that. She bitted her lower lip in nervousness. He took her left hand in his and rubbed it softly, looking at her finger intensively which she used to kept in her mouth. His gaze shifted to her and lifted her face by chin. "I asked you something " "making breakfast as I have to go to college early" she said in her very slow voice looking away. "For whom" he asked. She shoot her eyes at him meeting his sharp gaze, 'fo.. for mami.' "Oh for mom.., I thought You are doing this for me, as you didn't meet me yesterday." He pressed his lips harder together to stop his laughter. 'I have to go.' Saying this she ran out of Khanna Manssion. Letting out a smile "I wont leave you Mehek Sharma.." he said in the thin air.
"Instead of scolding me why he behaved like that" she blabbered to herself. What happened mehek, why you got ready at this hour today? Kantha stood there at the entrance. Mehek was extremely shocked by Kanthas unexpected presence... "Voh chachi I have to go to college early" mehek replied slowly.. Today is Sunday mehek, who will open doors for you kantha asked looking at mehek who was sweating..." Oh chachi I forgot it. I got ready as daily.." mehek tried to cover it up... " I will bring tea for you. " somehow mehek ran into kitchen before any further questions raised by kantha...
There she scolded herself being caught by both shaurya and chachi.
Getting back to his room shaurya lost in thoughts of hers.. Kahi isne tho phirse kamosh Nahi bangaya... "Oh god it shouldn't happen" he thought...
When he was 14 Mehek used to be with Karuna more because she couldn't stay in Sharma house where she feels her mom and dad.. Karuna also loved to look after her friend's daughter.
Since Karuna was married to harish, meera gestured her like a Best friend more than her sis-in-law... After that meera fell in love with Sunil Sharma. Although Sharmas were not that rich like Khannas, Harish and Karuna happily accepted their Love.
Harish gifted the neighbouring land to mafter Mehek's birth, as he and Karuna couldn't stay away from Meera. Sharmas moved in there, because of Sunil friendly nature it became more easy to stay together. Mehek had a lovely family. Sunil meera and her dadz all pampered her a lot. Ofcousre Karuna and harish too...
After 6-7 years as kantha was pregnant Jeevan and kantha also moved in with Sunil & meera.. Few months later kantha was blessed with Mohith..
Then also mehek got lot of pamperness from all sometimes shuarya felt jealous and sometimes mehek.. But They reminded friendly only..
She lived The happiest life with Shaurya's accompany and Meera's good upbringing.. Harish used to say Mehek reflects Meera more.. But fate was made its way in her life.
One day Mehek's dadz wanted to visit temple. So they got ready to go. Sunil asked mehek to go along with them. Mehek refused As she wanted to play with Mohith... They didn't forced her anymore.. Meera asked kantha and Karuna to look after mehek till evening.. Meera told mehek not to trouble anyone, be a good girl , till we come.. Kissing her forehead they left...
But they didn't comeback alive. Since then mehek was not herself anymore. Her cute lil smile faded away along with Sunil and meera.. A ten year mehek became lifeless for few weeks... She felt nothing in the world at that stage without her parents.. Both the mansions turned empty without the smiles or shouts of their owner... But Karuna and harish took her to Khanna Manssion.. Her cries filled the rooms at nights..
But there she stood. Karuna used to say her memories with meera to catch sleep for mehek. Her silence irritated shaurya. He missed her crazy acts. So he helped Karuna to take her out of isolated world.
Shaurya used to irritate her. However he behaves with her his accompany and alls love made her smile lil bit and out of turmoil.

After some time...
Karuna harish and kantha chitchatting in the lawn. Making arrangements for a small party in the occasion of Shaurya's return to India. Mehek is playing with puppy.
Shaurya also joins them... "So guys what's going on here ? Shaurya asked cheerfully. "Nothing much we are just planning to arrange a small party for our staff to introduce you" Harish said sipping his tea. " Shaurie did you informed vicky that you are here" karuna asked her son. "Yes mom, he is on the way, Will be here in 10 mins." he replied her in between he heard loud laughs giggles. He knows well it's mehek only.. "Excuse me, I'll just come" he headed towards her.
Puppy starts running here and there. So mehek chasing it..
Shaurya stood there all smilingly , when his eyes got her glimpse watching the two adorable...puppy came running and stood infront of Shaurya, so as Mehak too came after it. Mehek bent down to lift her puppy . At the same time shaurya also bend. Both of their heads collide with each other. "ouch " mehek winces in pain. Shaurya stared at her touching his forehead. "why you bent down" mehek asked rubbing her head. Y you bent down? He shot her question back..
I was lifting my puppy Mehak said. "What ? What yours puppy? From when it became yours? " Shaurya asked her surprisingly...
"From the day you left us"
"excuse me"
"Sorry from the day you left him.. " she said lifting the puppy in her hands..
"Ohh ! As now I returned give it to me " he asked softly...
"No., I won't give you" she said turning away from him securing her lil one more..
" Mehek don't be stubborn , it's mine give it to me" saying he forcefully took puppy from her hands and left from there..
Mehek followed him screaming you can't do this Shaurya, please give it back to me... Mehek pleaded.
Shaurya went to Karuna. "ma this is mine na?" He asked. The trio disturbed by him and confusion hit them... "Ha, but what happened? " Karuna asked standing. "mami but I want it" mehek came following him with teary eyes. What happened, why are you crying? Asked kantha and Karuna. Mehek rushed to kantha " chachi he is taking puppy away from me.. I want puppy" she said hugging kantha. The lil puppy was also screaming for mehek, but shaurya was not letting it go away from his tight clutches.
"Till now she kept it with her which is mine. Now I won't give it to her..From now It will be with me only" both were fighting for a puppy. Karuna is pissed off with them... She don't know whom she should support.. " shaurya, mehek bus Karo thum dono..." Kantha yelled. Here we are talking about marriage proposal, and you both are fighting like children. "Whatever chachi I'm going to my room " shaurya said moving away.. ' Wait Shaurya ' harish said Shaurya stopped. "We want You get married to Mehak, It's Meera's wish and Karuna wants to fullfill it."
