The show which started on a very promising note to depict Mehek as a strong FL whowould overcome all odds and carve a niche for herself is somewhere lost these days, especially after the memory loss track. Show makers have their own constraints I guess. For a long run of the show, they come up with all sort of illogical and drag story lines tofill up the episodes. That's the fate of almost all ITV shows.Few show makers cannot digest the fact that indeed women can be stronger, fight theirown battles and make a life for themselves and come out as winners. Even though we arestill part of a male dominated society, women have come a long way and proved their mettle. You don't always need a man to support you and encourage you to achieve goals. Thinkingwith their hearts and not just brains and also being the multi-taskers, women do have a knackto deal with any situation and be pretty good at what at they do. I do take pride in belonging toa state and district which has women holding the reins of top bureaucrats, be it theChief Secretary of the state, DG-IGP, SP, DCP, CEO-ZP, Civic bodies, entrepreneurs, panchayats and many more key posts.Mehek of our show keeps flipping from being strong to weak without consistency in thecharacter. I hope at least after this memory loss track, the CVs decide to make her charactera strong one as they promised and show good tracks which would bring out the best in Mehek,a character which could be an inspiration.⭐️
Excellent post Rekha👏
I think ZKM succeeded in connecting an en masse within a short time only bcos of the "Mehak" character. Though her character underwent multitude of ram shackles, still it had the aura to get hold of the audience with her high spirited and never losing mentality, giving neck to neck competition to the villainous hero . But post leap, the "mehakness" has vanished totally. Really can't understand why the audience always love to c d typical weak "sehmi si" heroines n the ever valiant heroes. It has now gone the typical "Ekta" way as the trps r also abetting them. Really missing the "Mehak" of MEHAK!!And the saddest thing is that the dialogues given to Mehak r poor n repetitive 😕 ( like "Mein aapko kabhi maaf nahin karungi"- she has said the same thing several times to Shaurya) The oneliners of Shaurya r always bang on in ZKM. In every way "Mehak" is not being given the required prominence in the show. May b bcos the script writer is a male, but still loads need to b done to "Mehak" character!!

Rekha, you are looking for deeper logic 😲 ZkM (& most others) thrive on illogical TRP graph, the arch of characters within 😆
The female protagonist is mahaan by scarifying too much, losing too far, paving way for everyone over her desired destination if she were to choose the option will always be for others happiness, more giving than getting , like a candle illuminating the darkness around burning herself out yet providing warmth to those around her ,overcoming the obstacles on her path getting past them with determination without trespassing the LR & eventually breaking the deceptive walls of resistance, trespassing is for negatives 😆,FL- the sanskari beti, biwi & bahu,as Kanta pointed out to Shaurya anymore and she needs rescuing from the hero, her own LR & brain turning into inactive wasteland so that the hero becomes the knight in the shinning armour, the invisible strings of destiny always tugging them together, keeping (hopefully )alive the intensity & audience interest 😆
