All the guests were gathered in the party. Vicky was there tending to all the guests, Mia and Zac were there too, Mia was wearing a revealing dress while Zac was wearing a black tuxedo. Shaurya came to the party wearing black tuxedo as well and seeing Zac wearing one he cursed him. Anna was there serving drinks and the most notable absentee was Mehak, Shaurya was constantly looking for her but she wasn't there. He kept looking but still didn't find her, he had lost patience after a while now and went straight to Anna and asked her where was Mehak, he told her it's her job to be here serving the guests why is she no here? Anna didn't want to tell him the actual reason why she was not here so she made an excuse that she wasn't feeling well and was sick. Shaurya's face fell he was expecting her to be here, how is he supposed to be calm while not seeing her this night, he told Anna that he will go see her, just then someone put a hand over his shoulder, Shaurya turned around to see it was his father Harish Khanna along with his mother. Shaurya was surprised to see them, Harish smirked at him telling him that he may be wasn't expecting us but I love to surprise my son, must say the arrangements aren't that bad and what I have heard from Vicky and the managers here you have done really well I am impressed Harish told him. Shaurya was relieved but he wasn't bothered by that anymore he was getting restless not seeing Mehak and now he couldn't leave because their parents were here. Mia came running to them after she was done throwing herself at Zac who practically left her in the middle of what seemed to be a good conversation according to her but he just wanted to get out of there, he was there only for that one reason as well to see Mehak and get to know her more but since he didn't see her he left the party. Mia and Karuna greeted each other like they haven't met in ages, the emotions from Karuna were true but from Mia's were totally fake and over the top and only Shaurya could see that, Harish was irritated by her as well and only Karuna seemed to like her for some reason and that reason Shaurya couldn't figure out. It was pretty late and Shaurya was feeling more miserable as time passed he just wanted to be with Mehak not constantly hear or see Mia's fakeness on display and his mother's affection for her. Most of the guests had left by now and all the staff were preparing to leave, he saw Anna leaving and wanted to go with her to see Mehak but he couldn't as Vicky and his father approached him again and they were busy talking what next steps they need to take and ensure the hotel's get good publicity, Harish praised both their hard work and Vicky gave most of the credit to Shaurya who was not interested in their talk. He told them that's its pretty late and we all should be going to our rooms. Mia came and put her arm through his and asked him in a flirty tone where are they sleeping? And winked at him. Shaurya wanted to kill her there but he controlled his anger and told her off by saying that she enjoys his mother's company so much why not you sleep in her arms. He jerked his arm off her and left the place. He entered his room and threw his jacket on the couch, removed his bow tie in a huff and sat down on his bed thinking about Mehak. The dress he bought earlier for Mehak was there on the bed, he picked it up and remembered how beautiful she looked earlier in that dress and held it closely to his chest. He wanted to see her and was worried for her, he changed into his night trousers and left for her room. It was 2 am in the morning and just as he was about to knock on the door he stopped thinking they might be asleep and she is not feeling well I shouldn't be disturbing her and what would she think of me at this hour? He left reluctantly from there thinking he will talk to her first thing in the morning.

Shaurya came back to his room and tried to get some sleep, he held the dress to his chest and tried to sleep but he couldn't, he wanted it to be morning already so that he can see Mehak. Eventually he dozed off.

It was morning, Shaurya was still asleep, he was awoken by the constant knocking on the door, he woke up and saw the time it was 10am, he cursed himself for not getting up early and went to open the door shirtless, it was Mia and he looked him up and down. What? He asked her angrily, Mia tried to enter his room but he blocked the way and telling her off that this is a no go area and you are not allowed to enter, as Mia tried to wish him Good Morning he closed the door right on her face, she was really angry but calmed herself down telling herself once she gets entry in that house she don't need him, there are lots of guys like Shaurya Khanna wanting my attention but all don't have his money, I only need your money Shaurya Khanna, you and your family can go to hell and she left the place. Shaurya quickly changed to a casual wear and went downstairs in anticipation of meeting Mehak but she wasn't at the bar. Vicky came there and informed him that today is the last day of shoot for Zac here and we should make as much of it to have good publicity for our hotel. Shaurya was not interested in any business talk right now so he just went straight ahead and sked Vicky where was Mehak not giving a damn about what Vicky might think. Vicky was taken aback at first but he knew he must have a good reason to ask it and he wouldn't push Shaurya to tell him the reason as he would never unless he tells him himself. Oh Mehak and Anna resigned this morning and left. What? Shaurya was shocked to hear what she didn't anticipate at all, What the hell? Why? He asked Vicky who was now completely taken aback by his reaction to the news, he hasn't seen him like this before and he was worried for him. He asked him if everything was alright, Shaurya still couldn't believe that she could leave him like that but he composed himself and told him nothing and excused himself from there. Vicky was left standing there thinking what was going through his head, he was surprised as well as worried.

Harish and Karuna had decided to have their lunch together with Shaurya, Vicky and Mia. They all sat at the table except Shaurya who came late. Harish joked "Old habits die hard, not now dad, Vicky jumped in diverting the conversation to some work related issues. How could you Mehak? Shaurya said to himself. You said something? Hairsh asked him, Shaurya told him no nothing sorry. So what are you two plans now, I am impressed you have worked good as a team here and since I am leaving for India to meet some investors for our business venture there, tell me your plans. Shaurya had already decided what he wanted to do, he wanted to go to Paris, he met Mehak there for the first time so that's where he wanted to be and he already had booked an evening flight. He told Harish he will join him in office in Paris, Harish read for a minute and told him he can, he won't be there for now but seeing that how he has worked here I am sure you will be alright there but still my trusted staff will guide with everything. He will do you proud Karuna jumped in. I hope he will Harish said to her. I am leaving in the evening then, what about you Vicky?. Vicky decided to go along with Shaurya as well. Karuna had decided to stay overnight and wanted Mia to be with her, Mia was clearly pissed at her for suggesting that idea but if she has to get what she wants she has to play along so she agreed reluctantly.

In PARIS Mehak and Anna got out of the airport and called Aunt Danielle which hospital they were. Aunt Danielle told her they have been discharged for now, test results came and Meera was diagnosed with stage 1 brain tumour, doctors insisted on she should start treatment immediately, she didn't want to tell Mehak yet as Meera told her to promise she won't. Danielle messaged her the address and where they were going and Mehak was surprised by the address and told Anna why they are going there. During her job Meera never mentioned to her she had moved to the place where she cooks now as she was forced to leave their home, she didn't want Mehak to be thinking about all that and be upset while away working so she waited for her to come here and then she should know. Danielle and Meera were already at the KM. Mehak and Anna reached there after them for about 15 minutes, Mehak was taken aback by the big mansion in front of her, she had seen these big mansions in magazines or in movies and serials. Gate was locked and a guard from inside asked them who they were, Mehak told her who she was and the guard let her in. She and Anna quickly went inside and didn't read the mansion board that said Khanna Mansion'. Guard let them to the servant quarters and Mehak went inside and called out Meera, Danielle came and hugged Mehak and Anna and led them to Meera's room, Mehak went in the embrace of her mother and cried, Meera patted her back and told her she is alright, Mehak told her angrily that she never takes care of herself and now look keeping her hands on Meera's cheeks as tears rolled down her cheeks. Meera hugged her and told her she was alright and now that she has come back she will be healthier than ever before. Mehak wiped her tears and told her yes now she will be healthy than veer and I won't let you move out of bed now. Now that Mehak was a bit calm Meera decided to tell her that she was forced to move out of their house and she got work here and now they have only this place to leave. Mehak was sad when she heard that as that house was full of her memories with her father and now those were taken away as well. She told Meera she had left the job in Nice. Meera could see the sadness on her face and felt bad for her daughter but Mehak promised her that she will find work soon and they will move out to another house or an apartment. Meera hugged her again and cried thinking she wants her daughter to have all the happiness in the world, I don't know what will happen to me and whether I will survive or not just forgive me beta. Mehak broke the hug and wiped her tears and told her no more crying and now she will be working in her place. Danielle and Anna wiped their tears as well. Danielle told Mehak that Ella will tell her everything what to do, Mehak nodded and smiled at Meera.

Shaurya came home exhausted from the journey as well as from the miserable day he had without seeing Mehak. He had no idea where she was and he thought of making plans tomorrow to find her somehow, he didn't even have her contact number, he told Ella he didn't want to eat and went to his room and changed to his night wear. No one was at home as he thought apart from Ella in the servant quarters and she had gone to sleep as well. Suddenly he heard some noise coming from the kitchen, he got up knowing no one was at home and Ella had gone to sleep who can that be? He decided to check who was it, he slowly walked to the kitchen to sneak up on whoever it was. Mehak was in the kitchen eating ice cream hiding behind the counter, Shaurya peeped in to see if anyone was there but he found no one, he called out "Hello?, which startled Mehak, this voice is familiar she said to herself "Shaurya? No way am I hearing things? Shaurya came to the counter but didn't check behind it he thought it is probably nothing and started to walk away, he was out of the kitchen, Mehak got her head up to see who it was but he was gone. She sighed and quickly went to the fridge to put the ice cream back and started to go off but she stumbled and fell, Shaurya heard the noise again when he was going back and this time he was sure someone was in there, Mehak quickly stood up and walked away through the back door. Shaurya came back to the kitchen and found no one again but he noticed the fridge door was left open slightly and his suspicions came true, he called up the guards to ask if they saw anyone going out, they told him they saw no one, he sent them away and was confused what was going on? Mehak came back to her room tip toeing so as to not wake up Meera and laid down on her bed, she laid straight up looking at the ceiling thinking to herself that that voice sounded like Shaurya, she looked outside to see for a sign if anyone was home but she didn't find one, she laid down back just then Shaurya's room light lit up, Mehak ever since you came to my life I am feeling restless and now strange things are happening he was talking to himself, I will find you wherever you are. Mehak tried to sleep dismissing the idea that it was Shaurya by convincing herself that he used to shout or talk to her all the time and she got used to it so maybe she found this person's voice like him as well. Wait a minute is there anyone home? She looked outside again and before she could see Shaurya's room lights went off. She laid down again thinking are there any ghosts in this house? Was it a ghost back in the kitchen? She was scared and pulled the duvet and hid herself in it. Both tried to sleep and eventually dozed off.

It was morning Shaurya had his alarm set at 6:30 am. He got up somehow not wanting to disappoint his dad with the responsibility he had given him and he also has to go and find Mehak, he didn't know how he will balance work and finding her but he convinced himself that he will find a way. He got into shower to get ready. Mehak and Ella were preparing breakfast, Ella told Mehak to set up the table and plates in the garden area as that's where patron will be having his breakfast. Mehak didn't ask Ella much about the owners nor did she know who they were setting up the table for, she thought she would see for herself and took the plates to the garden area and set up a table, besides the garden there was a beautiful pool and Shaurya's bedroom was right next to it. He came out in his suit through through the back door that opened to the pool area and saw the back of a young lady who looked just like Mehak, he stopped in his tracks and started walking backwards to his room, he hid behind the sliding glass door and watched her set up the plates, Mehak went to the other side of the table and was now facing him, she was his Mehak he smiled and then pinched himself as to see if he was dreaming or it was all real, he couldn't believe Mehak was there right there in his home while he was getting restless all day and night yesterday for her and making plans to find her, he couldn't hide his excitement, he wanted to go and hug her tightly right there and then. He controlled himself and then asked himself the most important question "What was she doing here? And she was in the kitchen last night?. Ella never told me that there someone else in the house too, I will ask her but let me first watch this beautiful lady who took his breath away every time he saw her, Mehak was done setting up the table and went to bring the breakfast, Shaurya watched her leave and thought something to himself and smiled wickedly. He went to the table, picked up the plates, placed them right next to the pool and messed up the table cloth "Let's see how you react to this Mehak, Mehak came back with the breakfast and she was in shock her mouth forming an O' to see the table all messed up and plates placed near the pool. She froze looking at the scene in front of her, she recovered herself and put the tray down on a chair and looked here and there but saw no one. What happened here? Who moved these, the scene at night played in her mind and she got scared. Are there ghosts? She said to herself and again looked here and there. Shaurya was hiding behind the close door and seeing her in that situation he chuckled to himself, that's for leaving me like that Mehak. Mehak again set up the table and went to the kitchen looking back again and again. Shaurya watched her leave again and again did the same thing he put all the breakfast besides the pool and messed up the table. Mehak was in kitchen and asked Ella whether she believed in ghosts, she laughed at her telling her there is no such thing as ghosts. Mehak noticed she has forgotten to take the juice to the table, she sighed and took the jug to the table and this time when she got there she dropped the jug and came running back shouting Ella's name. Shaurya was rolling in laughter and when Mehak was gone he came back and quickly set up the table as it was before, Mehak came with Ella to show her what has happened here but when she reached there everything was like she set it up before, Ella asked her what's wrong? Mehak was in shock again not knowing what to say, she told Ella what had happened, how everything was messed up when she went to get her and now everything is fine like it was before, Ella sighed and asked her if she is tired she should take rest, she would manage its no problem. Mehak nodded she was now confused and afraid not knowing what had happened, what happened in the night and now this she ran away from there. Shaurya could hardly control his laughter he came out and had his breakfast and was very cheerful knowing his Mehak is living with him in his home. After he was done with the breakfast he went to the kitchen through inside the house and found Ella there working, Mehak was now in her room. He asked who the young lady, Ella told him all about Meera and Mehak. Shaurya took off from there knowing now that her mom works here and Mehak has now joined her here. He felt bad for both but couldn't help but feel happy that Mehak was living with him. He wished he could see her again one more time before leaving but he couldn't. Mehak was preparing to go find work with Anna, Meera assured her she is alright now and can do work, she can go with Anna. Shaurya went off to the office in cheerful mood and Mehak took off with Anna to find some work. Mehak told all the incidents of the night and morning to Anna who laughed at her telling her may be a ghost has fallen in love with you. Mehak shushed her telling her that she is serious and she is making fun of her. Anna told her she should try talking to these ghosts and see what they want. Mehak got scared and started walking fast telling Anna no. Anna laughed at her response.

Shaurya got to office and got busy in work, everyone In office was surprised to see him coming on time and being cheerful to everyone. He handled the day's work well, attended some meetings and was done for the day all this because he knew he would go back home and see the beautiful face of his Mehak. Vicky was very surprised by the sudden change in him it was only yesterday he was worried for him but now seeing him handling everything so well he was not worried and he still didn't bother asking him what was going on with him as he knew Shaurya very well he won't utter a word.

Mehak and Anna didn't find any work, Mehak was disappointed but Anna encouraged her that soon they will find something. Mehak was back in KM helping Ella in the kitchen while Meera rested for a while. Karuna was back from Nice and told Ella to bring her coffee, as Ella was busy in work Mehak told her she will get the coffee and get it to her. Karuna was holding her head, Mehak spoke "Mam! Your coffee, Karuna was startled by the voice and asked who was she? Mehak told her she was Meera's daughter and since she was ill she was helping out with the work. Karuna nodded and as she started to go, she stopped her and asked how long will she be staying here? Mehak was thrown off by the question, Karuna changed the question a bit and asked that she was working in Nice right? When is she going back? Mehak told her she left her job in Nice and won't be going back, Karuna told her "OK and that she can leave now. Mehak didn't know why she asked her that question as she didn't feel good about it but thought to herself she will ask Meera about it.
