Today while i was watching Karuna mom talking to that mysterious person who was stalking their car, I got a sudden hunch that maybe Shaurya's real mother was alive all the while, but Karuna lied to SK that she had died. SK's mother must have given her son to Karuna to secure his future but now as he has grown up she wants Karuna to tell him about his real mother.
From that time onwards when Karuna brought Shaurya with her i think she is asking his mother to remain silent. But his mother wants to meet with his son, because her love for her son cannot keep her away from him.
Sk's mother must have been helpless and could have bore Harish's betrayal for her child's sake. I don't think that he abandoned them completely at first, otherwise how did SK got the phone number of Karuna's house.
Harish was in contact with them at first because remember in the flashback he slapped SK and told him that who the hell he is to stop him from meeting his mother. He must have provided for them all these years otherwise they would have already died from starvation. And just speculate that SK's mom had a job and she was providing for herself and her child then why the hell she had to put up with her husbands first marriage. she could have already called Karuna herself.
It was only later sometime that Harish abandoned his first family and Sk's mother called Karuna. Again for her child's sake. To secure his future.
