Thanks for sharing your views dear. Sorry for the wrong explanation. I should have said greedy but not in a bad way but in a good way to provide for her child. A mother is only greedy to secure her child's future. Nothing wrong in that and at that time she had no choice as well. She was helpless and must have bore Harish's betrayal for her child's sake. I don't think that he abandoned them completely at first, otherwise how did SK got the phone number of Karuna's house.

Harish was in contact with them at first because remember in the flashback he slapped SK and told him that who the hell he is to stop him from meeting his mother. He must have provided for them all these years otherwise they would have already died from starvation. And just speculate that SK's mom had a job and she was providing for herself and her child then why the hell she had to put up with her husbands first marriage. she could have already called Karuna herself.

It was only later sometime that Harish abandoned his first family and Sk's mother called Karuna. Again for her child's sake. To secure his future.

If Shaurya's mom held on to her husband for her own selfish reasons, then why did Karuna not leave him for cheating? She is rich and she doesn't need him to take care of her! I don't think its about money. Its more about women willing to put up with abuse because of their sense of duty and loyalty. Coming to letting Harish abuse Shaurya, many parents in India hit their children. It's more to do with ignorance as to what that kind of ill treatment could do to a child than not caring for the child's welfare. Not just hitting kids, but also harsh words directed at them can do a lot of damage in their formative years. But many parents don't know that. We should remember that she was also a victim of abuse and neglect. She wasn't mentally and physically capable of taking care of her son. If she was capable, she wouldn't ask the other woman in her life for help.

How did you assume Karuna saying something mean about Shaurya's biological mom, girl?! It never happened. She is loving, kind and generous. She never judges people, but leaves the judgement to God.

Yep you are right Rekha even i haven't understood till now that why Karuna put up with Harish's betrayal. You cleared that thing about abuse. Thanks. You are right its more about submissive women.

But yes i am sorry for using the word greedy. That was unintentional. I should have said that SK's mother put up with her husbands betrayal because he must have provided for them. And he also gave them Karuna's house phone number. So it shows that Harish was in contact with his first family. Maybe she bore his betrayal because she was helpless and had to take care of her child, food and bills. Otherwise i think no mother or wife can bear what Harish had done to them.

No...no..dear don't be sorry it's me who should apologize for hurting all ZKM fans. I unintentionally used that word.
