I have no knowledge of punjabi, except for the bits i hear in tv soaps, (i am a telugu girl) but i just loved that song that they played when Mahek was getting her chuda on. It lends it a nice authentic flavor.

I have actually left counting sk's every expression as it makes my brain daze.His every dialogues have two meanings.And it is upto us in which way we want to take his dialogues,in a twisted way or in a simple one!!

@ Chandrima ,dsr 11 .. I can understand he being under the influence of drugs .. but then how does the expression change as soon as she reached the stage, he is literally beaming
And yaar he was unhappy when she was getting married to someone else .. but he forgets everything and cannot keep eyes off her
Again look at his smile when she manages to get the jaimal in
It is confusing

Here is my intuition / wishful thinking

1 : I do believe he is planning to run away somewhere with M .. he was packing a suitcase .. he mentioned it to Mohit
He made some arrangements on the phone .. what where I do not know

2: he is trying to get the recipie book coz he knows the others are after it .. I would like to think he is trying to get a patent or something..
3: as I said the whole crew deserves applause.. it looks so much like a real wedding.. including the impatient father who wants the Baraat to move ..
I could not but think of my father/ uncles .. their main task during weddings of boys is to make the Baraat move

@ Sonali .. you are right there was a black horse .. right .. we saw its picture in the forum .. so it must be part of the getaway plan

Exactly my point Samusaa .. this is what makes me so
Mad at the CVs they deliberately use such dialogues .. they know that our brains will go in overdrive..
As I say all the red herrings they have used bed bugs (khatmal) bankar inko kaate 😉
