Part 1 :

Mehak was shocked to see him. She turned and spoke to him: I am marrying him.

Shaurya : No u cant...u wont...Plaese Mehak listen to me once...Don't do this to urself. Please don't spoil your life.

Mehak half smiled: Who said I m spoiling my life? Ajay is the right choice for me...I am happy...Don't know wht makes you think that I m not..

Mehak started walking towards the mirror when Shaurya grabbed her arm and made her look at him.

He held her tightly by the shoulders and spoke: I know u well...u are not happy with this alliance. Tht guy is a bloody ***...Have u forgotten he had misbehaved with u in the disc...The way he touched u, was trying to kiss u...

Mehak closed her eyes thinking about all those past events. She didn't want to remember all dat. It was too late. She had forgiven Ajay long back or rather she knew that her would be husband was a typical womanizer who didn't respect her or her family. Ajay had apologized and assured her that he would change for her and be a good husband and she had accepted his apology.

Mehak looked at him and spoke with confidence: He is a changed man now. He apologized to me and I forgave him.

Shaurya pulled her closer and said: If you could forgive him, then why not me?

Mehak pushed him away: I don't want to...Now will u please leave me? The baraat will come any moment.

Shaurya : Please Mehak don't do this to me...I m sorry for the pain that I have caused u...I regret tht.

Mehak smiled sarcastically: U r beyond redemption Mr. Shaurya Khanna...N seriously I don't have time for this nonsense any more. ... In case, u have forgotten I have a wedding to attend...My wedding..

The baraat had come by then. The music was loud so no one could hear Mehak and Shaurya talking in the room. Mehak went to the window to see the baraat when Shaurya pulled her and pinned her to the wall.

Shaurya cupped her face and spoke: Please give me one chance...I m sorry..I know I did a mistake but uski itni bada sazza mat do.

Shaurya had tears in his eyes. He was losing it..No matter how much he tried to convince Mehak, she wasn't ready to budge and change her decision. He remembered tht she was an equal in all aspects just like him. She had said once to him "Agar tum ziddi ho toh main bhi ziddi hoon...". Why couldn't she see that he was genuinely sorry for his mistake.

Shaurya held her face and was leaning towards Mehak. Mehak pushed him but Shaurya caught her hand and pinned them to the wall..

Shaurya was begging: Please Mehak...One chance...

Mehak: I gave u a chance and u ruined it...I can't trust u anymore.

Shaurya spat in anger: N u can trust tht spineless son of *** Ajay Parmar..Kyun?

Mehak looked at him in anger : Yes I can trust him coz I knew wht he was from the start but you...tum toh mujhe humesha dhokha dete rahe...U played with my feelings Shaurya...I knew wht kind of man Ajay is but u...

She started moving but Shaurya wouldn't let her.

Mehak: Let me go Shaurya

Shaurya: No I won't...

Mehak wasn't looking at him now. She couldn't. He had tears in his eyes, he seemed so helpless. She never thought tht she could see this man so helpless ever. The man who commanded attention from everyone, who had the world at his feet was now begging in front of her.

Shaurya : Tum mujhe jo sazza dena chahti ho who do ...but please don't marry him.

Mehak pushed him with all her strength and he tumbled backwards. He had the look of defeat on his face.

Mehak: LEAVE SHAURYA NOW...

Shaurya: No I won't...I won't let u..

Mehak: Stop dictating my life...Its my life let me decide wht I want...

Shaurya: Tht guy is not good for u...Trust me Mehak.

Mehak looked at him and said: Trust...she was laughing now...

Shaurya looked at her. He was sad with her reaction but he couldn't blame her for tht.

Mehak: Oh Shaurya please don't talk about trust...of all the people, u shouldn't be talking about something tht you have no knowledge of...

Shaurya: I am sorry I broke ur trust.

At that, Mehak grabbed him by the collar and shouted: No u didn't break my trust but u broke me...N I HATE YOU...HATE YOU MR SHAURYA KHANNA.

There was silence in the room. Shaurya had no words to say to her. It was futile convincing her. She had made her decision and she was adamant about it now. But Shaurya couldn't leave like that. He will do anything to stop Mehak from marrying that git.

Before Shaurya could speak anything, there was a knock at the door.

Kaanta chachi: Mehak baraat aa gayi hai beta...Please open the door.

Mehak wiped her tears and looked at him: I hope I don't have to tell you wht to do...You can congratulate me for the wedding later.

Shaurya looked at her with pain in his eyes. He knew what she was talking about. This wasn't the first time tht Shaurya was in her room. He had been in her room a lot of times. In fact, he would always come to meet Mehak here and then they would talk for hours. If anyone came by, Shaurya knew where to hide so tht the family members wouldn't see him.

Mehak left him thinking and started adjusted her dupatta. She had one look at herself in the mirror to see if she had wiped her tears properly. Once she was satisfied with her look, she opened the door.

Kaanta chachi: Beta why did you take so long to open the door...

Chachi looked at her wet eyes. She understood that Mehak was crying. She was worried for her.

Chachi: Mehak tu ro rahi thi...Are you ok? Are you not happy with this marriage?

Mehak assured her: No chachi I m very happy...Its just tht thoda senti ho gayi thinking about u and the other family members. Please don't worry. I am fine.

Chachi looked at her once to confirm if she was saying the truth.

Mehak hugged her and said: Chachi pls don't worry I m happy...Ab chale my dulha is waiting for me at the mandap and I don't intend to keep him waiting there for long...She said that with a wink.

Chachi smiled and made their way towards the mandap. She started walking down the stairs. All were looking at her admiring the beautiful bride. When she reached her mandap, she saw Ajay sitting in the dulha's attire. He was staring at her. She smiled at him and sat next to him.

The pandit started reciting the mantras. The mantras were being read but Mehak couldn't hear anything. Everything was falling apart. She didn't want this but there was no choice. She couldn't turn back the events in her life. Wish she had a time turner, she could change everything and the first thing she would like to change would be her meeting with Shaurya. How she wished she had never met him, never worked for him and never fallen in love with him.

"LOVE" that emotion brought tears in her eyes. She closed her eyes and all the painful memories flashed in front of her.
