Shaurya is shown to have these random black and white flash backs plus in one of the earlier episode he had mentioned that his father had abandoned the family 12years back...Mahek'sparents met with an accident12 years back...so if I join these dots,there is a possibility that Shaurya had an elder brother who probably got into a fight with young boys from the chaul in trying to protect Shaurya &unfortunately got killed..Shaurya went to his father &maternal uncle asking for help who were in inebriated state,for some reason they ran from the scene in hurry thus causing the accident which killed Mahek's parents, hence his uncle is in the jail.Shaurya is a teetotaler as he has seen the ill effects of alcohol.

wow..you are in CBI and FBI mode..makes sense..Shaurya had a bad childhood and his never cared for his mom is what I gather..

Yes, I agree..there are only 2people (as of now) that Shaurya cares for .. his mother& nani😊

I love this assumption, one thing for sure, their lives are connected which means the revelation will be another hurdle to overcome. This reminds me of protagonists' connection of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Qubool hai ( the last few shows I looked at) . Maybe,Mr. Khanna was drunk and the drunk driving causes the accident which made Shaurya lose loved one/s and Mehek to lose her parents'... as you suggested . Now my questions are why does Mehek's grandfather blame her for her parents accident? How is she the cause? Or in his heart, Mehek should have died too? I guess once it is confirmed that Shaurya is adopted , then the other inferences can be proven fact or otherwise.

Both of you have valid points..(I have started watching the show about a week late,so don't know what had happened earlier)

I have one more question...while we all know why and how Mehak became a good cook but do we have a background story to support why and how Shaurya became the famous Karela King?
