Gayu! She is some time disappointing for me too (as a Kerim fan), but unforchunetally her charecter is best for me among all women charecters of this show 😳

U r right, Pahal. Among the women characters, hers has been one of the best written except for scenes in the later part of the show. From first to end, she wanted justice for FG & never wavered in that resolve nor in her support for FG to do that 😊

We are all aware of the tower tall of goodness Maryem has demonstrated throughout.

Goodness doesn't mean she gives a sweet tooth to all of us and Diabetes to the other characters in the drama.

Aasu at this point has lost all her credibility to be trusted and empathized.

Maryem in that past stood for justice. She never had second thoughts to hand over Kerim to police.

Maryem being cautious in this case is being matured, protective of her clan & totally proactive.*isnt that motherly DNA??*

Finally she being more a wife to Kadir is so so normal, cuz she mentoring Gullie to be that trustworthy partner to Kerim.

Kerim-Gullie should also elevate their relationship such that they run into Maryem for everything on their sundry list.

Regarding next episodes, Dummy cant comment much.

According to Islam, woman in public must be accompanied by a male guardian at all times . Failure to do so is a punishable offense and that is exactly what this 13 year old girl allegedly have done.

A 13 year old, Shafeenaz who went to a neighboring house was raped by a 54 year old man and the incident was reported to a local Sharia court which then decided to sentence the victim for 100 lashes and a two year jail term for behaving indecently and allowing herself to be victimized by not accompanying a male guardian.

13 Year Old Rape Victim Ordered To Lash 100 Times and Two Year Jail Term In Turkey

Turkey was a secular country until very recently although the rise of Sharia courts are clearly evident, specially in rural Turkey. Turkish president Ergodan is trying to remove "Secularism" from the constitution and make it a "Religious constitution" by referencing God.

Speaker Ismail Kahraman recently called for a constitution change for this effect which sparked controversy. Taking the lead rural Turkey cities have now moved to set up their own Sharia courts. This 13 year old was convicted by a similar sharia court which determined that they lack evidence to convict the rapist as the victim was unable to provide four witnesses to the court.

Verdict was given by a four member sharia panel who said to have heard only two cases prior to this. According to reports, secular movements have already protested against the religions legal system popping up in Rural Turkey against modern Ataturk constitution which is still in force.

Leading human rights activist, Ajmal Khaleed said that they have already filed this case to the UNHRC and waiting for their intervention in light of Ergodan's attempt to make Turkey an Islamic state governed by Sharia law.

He also noted that "perpetrators will only be inspired by such verdicts and child abuse cases will skyrocket". "This need to be dealt with immediately as we do not wish Turkey governed by Sharia policing", he added further.

Amnesty international issued a press release condemning the verdict and their surprise to learn that Sharia courts are operating in a secular country such as Turkey. When ATV news channel inquired Bekir Bozdag, the minister of justice, if the government will be taking any action against illegal sharia courts operating, he said that "we are investigating the matter now and its too early to say anything".
