Patrama Prem ~ A Gosham SS
What a heartbreaking episode it was! To say that I could relate to the emotions of Fatmagul before, during and after the hearing would be injustice, at least according to me. I couldn't help but feel extremely awful for her when her criminals were released, despite of her all efforts and courage to stand in front of them. 😭 😭 The way she broke down after the Judge declared his decision was genuinely shattering for me. 🥺 Seeing her plight, I can't even imagine what the rape-victims must be going through when they see their criminals roaming around freely without any regret. And don't even ask me about those victims who are blamed for their own sufferings. :/
I try never to sound serious with my posts because the show itself is dealing with a serious issue and we all know what pain Fatmagul must have gone through so far, but after this episode, I couldn't help from writing this! :(
Coming to the episode, the real drama began where one by one those criminals ended up defending themselves, while Fatmagul could do nothing but simply remember how each of them brutally assaulted her and left her whimpering in pain. Starting with Erdogan's statement, that shameless creature spoke in his defense, like it was expected. 😵 And it terrified me when Fatmagul recalled how he was the one to rip off her clothes! 😒 Then came Selim's statement, and he too speaks the same, with some more additions like crying like a child and telling the judge how innocent he is and that his name is unnecessarily being dragged in all this mess! Even though it was of no use, yet I loved how she screamed at him for shamelessly lying. 👏 👏
Despite getting another chance of redemption, Vural too chose a path like Yasaran brothers, though with a different intention. But whatever his intention maybe, the fact that he lied makes me feel disgusted at him. 👎🏼 Not to forget, the way Fatmagul was looking at him with hopeful eyes when he stood did really show that somewhere she confided in him to speak the truth and how she thought him to be a bit different from Selim & Erdogan. But she was again let down. 🥺 Also, if someone observed, when Yasaran brothers spoke in their defense, she recalled the moments from 'that' horrible night, but when Vural was supposed to speak, she chose to recall 'that' night when he came to her for forgiveness. Doesn't that show how she was genuinely expecting him to stand with her? 😔
I couldn't understand what happened with Emre. Didn't Kerim tell him everything? I guess he just told him half truth. 🤔 Poor guy messed it up as he was called in before Aasu... And indeed because he fumbled with his words, Munir's and Yasarans' happiness knew no bounds. 😵 But like Seher mentioned, I liked how Fatmagul gave an "It's okay" look to him when he was sorry for messing it up. 😳
Lady Yasarans and Leman seemed to be quite bothered due to Meryem's presence and I liked that. 😈 The way Leman kept mentioning how she feels insecure due to her stares was quite amusing though... 😆 And Meryem remembers how these ladies portrayed themselves as her and Kerim's well-wishers just to save their criminal-sons. 🤬
I absolutely loved Aasu's 'words of mockery' to Mustafa. 👍🏼 That girl has got some sense now and doesn't feel afraid to stand in front of him and let him dominate her under any circumstance. ⭐️ Being a hypocrite, Mustafa could have been expected to throw his 'words of wisdom' on Aasu and threaten her not to tarnish Fatmagul's image when he himself has been doing the same all this while. 😳 Aasu was sensible enough to retort back and remind him that he too has been making money from Fatmagul's plight so there's not really any difference between them! Also, I could barely understand the familiar looks she gave to both Mustafa and Vural after the hearing. While Mustafa kept glaring at her, Vural gave a blank look to her and walked away. 🤔
Erdogan is indeed the most shameless, repulsive and ghastly character of this series, and another proof of this was seen in the episode when he was in high spirits after the judge announced to release them! 😳 Not only that, but the way he hugged Selim and then threatened Kerim & Fatmagul shows how he has no remorse at all for his deeds. 😡 And I don't think he'll ever feel ashamed in future too, according to what I observe in his present characterization. :/
I thought Mustafa's statement would indeed be a surprising element for me in the entire episode, but after what Niha wrote here and what my mom perceives with this, it's clear that Mustafa is yet again stooping down. 😵 Had he genuinely spoken the truth with the intention of only supporting Fatmagul or for his own redemption, that would have made me like him tiny bit. But if he has done all this to win back her love then I must ask, why is he still alive? Didn't we all ask him to spare some time and die? 😳 Also, the way he was smiling at Murat and then later gave a smile to Fatmagul after the courtroom session made me want to kill him. 🤬 Even that little Murat now understands what kind of a person Mustafa is!
However, there were certain things which I enjoyed in the episode, like the boldness with which Fatmagul not only sat in front of her rapists, but even refused to leave the courtroom when she felt uncomfortable and was requested to leave if she wanted to. 👏 👏 Her insistence to stay there shows how long she has travelled from not seeing their faces to facing them and making them realize that she is not at fault.
Not to forget Kerim's efforts and courage to stand up and speak the truth, not afraid of the consequences at all. ❤️ And his outburst on Vural was so justified, since he very well knew how that coward has been living each day after the incident.
The only likeable thing during Mustafa's statement was the tension clearly visible on Yasarans' faces. 🤣 No matter if the rapists were given clean chit, yet I enjoyed those nanoseconds of visible anxiousness on Risat's and Munir's faces! 😈 Also, I even loved Mukaddes's outburst on them since she couldn't make up on time, all thanks to Munir. 😵
The way Lady Yasarans greeted their sons after they were released cracked me up hard! 😆 As if they've won some medal in Olympics. 🤣 A special mention to Hilmiye, who felt as if she was on top of the world when Erdogan hugged her and screamed how they'll be back at home forever now! 🤣
But on a serious note, do Perihan and Hilmiye even realize that they're supporting rapists? This is a show so maybe we can laugh it off at their reactions, but there are some woman like them in real life who proudly support their sons in such cases! :/
Talking of Leman, she could barely express her happiness since Vural left no chance to make her realize that he cared the least for her. 🤣 Though I even felt bad when she tried talking to him in the car but he chose to talk to Semsi instead. Yet, his attitude towards Leman amuses me very much! :P 😆 I already posted one best interaction between him and Munir but I can't help it from posting again. *kill me* 🤣
Munir- Bahut achha kiya Vural.
Vural- Bhaad mein jao! 🤣 🤣
@Vidya- Honestly speaking, the first thing I was waiting for in the morning today was your dummy guides, because I knew they were surely going to give some hilarious insights to one emotional episode and indeed it did! 😆 Risat being like "Ab mera number hai" was as if he's prepared quite well for the exam! 😆 Leman studying physics for English exam and Meryem getting 8 in her practicals while Lady Yasarans got 7.5 was hilarious! 🤣 And OMG Munir's interruption about last year's paper being tough cracked me up hard 🤣 🤣
@Seher- I absolutely agree with you on the points about Vural and Leman. That lady has no remorse at all for what her son did, and on top of that the way she glared at Fatmagul and tried instigating an argument with Meryem was too much. 🤬
Speaking of Vural, his looks were as if he is pining for a consoling hug from Fatmagul and it totally put me off. 😵 Trust me, for a second I wished that he felt sorry for lying and immediately speak up the truth. But his cowardice never lets us down!
Yet somewhere I am confused about the way he looked at her when she broke down. I'm not at all supporting/defending Vural but he sat there like a zombie, looking at a sobbing Fatmagul when the judge announced to release them on bail. Can anyone give any explanations on that? Seriously, what is with Vural? 🤓

Shanaya- Bang on post! ⭐️ I never really get what kinda guilt Vural is having, where he gathers courage to show up at Fatmagul's door and beg for apology but he choses to give false statement when his confession was the most needed thing.
Like Seher mentioned, I wish there was cross examination, coz in that case Vural would have definitely fumbled up with the cooked lies. 😳Also, I guess season one ends right when Mustafa holds Fatmagul as Kerim is arrested. 🤔
