Extremely sorry for the late update everybody...
Terrific episodes are on a roll.. Superb execution and screenplay. Hilal I applaud you for your direction. *claps*
We are left at a juncture where Kerim's past has knocked in the face of his father and Christine. I loved the connectivity. First at the graveyard where Kerim helps FG and Rahmi with the graves of their parents and the FG steps in to visit his mother's grave.
And BINGO!!! We get a letter which isn't disclosed to its rightful receiver... Whatta turn of events and esp the thought behind it...
Every individual with a different take... And that is family isn't it? We have four heads all in four directions. And this difference makes things enjoyable plus bearable. Everyone has a reason according to their experiences and struggles. FG and Maryam chose to hide the letter to avoid its obvious fate into garbage. Kerim is in no state to see what had hurt him years ago. Muqaddas tries to solve things for a different reason altogether but ends up messing beyond repair. But my question is will there be light at the end of the tunnel?
Maryam wants to assure herself if there isn't anything wrong going on. A true healer.
FG supports Maryam as she had got a bitter experience of life. A true victim who chose to move on slowly.
Muqaddas jumped the gun by replying for the letter. Her motive was to solve things ( Even if it meant financial issues). A human instinct after all. She's one real person of the lot I say. A true interdependent who isn't shy of asking for help when needed. But alas!!! She ends up ruining things always.
Kerim is another victim who wants to forget everything. His view stems from the hurt he received as a kid. No letter, no chats will ever compensate for what he has borne.
Between the fight of MQ,FG,
Maryam,Kerim it is tough to choose one of them. Everyone does the same.
Maryam tried to find out the problem.
Muqaddas tried to make things in her favour.
Kerim tried to run away from his hurt.
FG ultimately gave the solution.
The primary difference between FG and Kerim is their way of dealing with their hurt. You cannot overcome your fear till you face it. Similarly you can't forget your pain till you experience it daily.
The two wounded souls were so placed together that they would be a balm for each other. The success of normalcy in their relationship cannot just be entitled to Kerim's goodness. Majority or rather maximum share is that of FG. Had she not faced him daily, had she overlooked his genuineness, had she ran away to not to return this normalcy was far fetched. Kadir has a right view "the girl is brave".
After their quarrel am very glad they showed FG with her psychiatrist.
"he expects me to trust him. He respects me to move on. But when I tell him the same he doesn't budge".
The dialogues given to FG were gems ( ignoring translation errors).
Many feel forgiving is difficult. The truth is forgiving is easier than forgetting. But we find out an easy way to our problems. "let's forget it". But does that really happen??? No.. A big No. You tend to forget things without closing the past. "A closure of past" may seem to be an overdramatic and a telenova concept but philosophically it isn't bullshit at all.
Last post I talked of friction. The concept which is taken into consideration even for pipelines, electricity transfer cables, prestressed cables and the list goes on. Even if friction facilitates motion there are sufficient energy losses also. "Forgiving" I term as a concept of friction. Whereas "Forgetting" I will call it a concept of elasticity.
While forgiving you are bitter,
frustrated, sad and dejected but once these energies are lost you gain momentum.
While forgetting, you shrink and stretch. You seem flexible, normal and adjusting. But after a sufficient lapse of time you are tired of all the circus so much that you lose elasticity.
First step to acceptance is denial. FG protested and denied, remained rigid but melted eventually. Kerim is going through a similar phase. Maybe maybe FG's struggle will make him realize the pearls of wisdom she gave him.
Materialism and Spirituality will always be poles apart. But these two entities are the essence of a human life.
FG gives a permanent solution. Maryam looks on but Muqaddas acts. The temporary way can carve out a path for the solution if and if Kerim allows.
I won't be surprised if his father shows up in the show. :P. But again no guess work at all. *lol*.
In a nutshell, a human can forgive easily because of "love" but he cannot forget easily because of "pain". So make your choice wisely. *winks*.
