6/9- 13/9: FRICTION
Even the criminals beat up the rapists. High time for the Yasrans to understand what grave crime they have committed. Rapists don't have a place even in jail. I doubt about hell though.
The progression of the track has been fantastic.
The things that can be forgiven can also not be forgotten, how can FG think that the things that cannot be forgiven, can be forgotten?
Her perfect trial for forgetting things is shattered when she sees vural and kerim together. I would say Kerim proved to be intelligent here. He in the pursuit of proving his love for her has taken the most sensible step of taking everything back to the point from where it began.
The complaint and investigation land them again in Izmir.
To heal your wound you have to examine your wound again and again. To overcome fear you have to visit it again and again. The trip back to their town was one such attempt. At first FG was nervous, scared and sad. But these negative feelings have to become the positives some day. Her confession to Maryam that she has lost everything to this place was heart wrenching. Her confession to Kerim that her house is in Istanbul was again so heart warming.
The prosecutor seems to be intelligent. Turana and Resat are simply trying to change the game. Semsi is the sensible of all the parents I fell. His "Good thoughts" for Resat are pretty visible from his timely glances to his business friend.
Perihan is a dumber version of Resat-Munir together. Seriously this lady has screwed up things more.
Kadir's doubt about Vural is so valid. Kerim I feel is taking him too much for granted. Once again 'trust'. How far will it take them?
FG's visit to the ruins is so perfect. The time you have to start anything afresh you have to end what is behind. Her revisit was well executed. With every step she recalled what Mustafa did to her. Was he really worthy of her love? Did she really deserved him? Her eyes speak volumes and this fact is proven when she meets the psychiatrist. She hates herself for trusting this man.
Mustafa stalking everyone is valid. Let him also see how much is everyone beneath the water. His aim was always two handed. Ek haath FG dusre haath badla. But what can a person accomplish with brewing hatred and anger? Nothing.
Kerim once showed him his reality and now once again FG and Kerim do the same. Mustafa's reality is now discordant with that of FG. Mustafa's pain manifests as FG goes away with Kerim.
Back to pavilion was interesting. Muqaddas Kerim scene was perfect. I just love Muqaddas. The letter is now received by Maryam and FG. I love the screenplay of the show which is giving connectivity of episodes. The scene at the graveyard was pretty symbolic of "something in store for us about Kerim's past". FG proposes to visit his mother's grave. And now this letter. Fantastic!!!!
The light scenes of Kerim FG were also good. " sab sunti rehti hai" was so adorable and then Kerim's smile was a million dollar.
Meltem is on a personal journey. You go girl!! I love you absolutely.. Media behind yasrans, ring with Ilgazs. The fun begins. Meltem's realization of getting used up was too good. Now she has a purpose and a mission. Turana is concerned about his career. Unlike Perihan Meltem's mother uses her brains. One thing for which I agree wity Turana is the fact that Meltem hid everything on her wedding. Her concern for reputation then has now made things worst for themselves.
Mustafa supposedly is shattered on seeing Kerim FG together and see that's what Munir uses to again bring Mustafa at their end. Kadir's friend is concerned about "no mustafa complaint" and the former supports but says they have no option.
It was imp for FG to revisit the ruins before going to the psychiatrist. You tend to hate a person initially. The same happened with FG. First the rapists, then Mustafa. Am constantly reminded of her dialogue "mard itne haiwaan kyun hote hai". This remains with her till she starts trusting Kerim. Kerim in a way shows her "all men are not the same". Again her words to Mustafa "woh bhale hi kitna bhi neech insaan kyun na ho woh hume chodkar nahi gaya". FG's journey has been too good. From denial to acceptance to again rejection. She sits before the psychiatrist to accept the fact that she hates herself for trusting Mustafa. Once again a great screenplay. She storms out of the restaurant not even apologizing to the man. Her first sensible step I would say. She tried to show the world that she was normal, she had moved on but the reality was that she had kept everything hidden. To speak up her mind to the psychiatrist was a good job. Again it was super great that she lost her job. You just cannot veil things and move on. Things have to be out till they stare at you mercilessly coz this is where you gain strength to overcome your shortcomings. This is what Perihan needs to understand. But this foolish lady goes to offer more money to Muqaddas. I loved the way she snubbed Perihan. When one cannot pay heed to warnings they should just STFU. One mistake that she did was to reveal the ring.
Amidst everything one thing I really want to deal with is "friction". One basic question : what makes us walk?
our foot exerts a friction force in one direction on the ground and the ground exerts a force of equal magnitude on our foot but in the opposite direction. our foot exerts a friction force backwards from the point of view of our motion whilst the ground exerts a friction force forwards on our foot. It is the friction force from the ground on our foot that drives us forward.
That friction force is technically opposing the motion of our foot (backwards against the ground) but is providing the motive force for our body to move forwards.
Technically friction makes us move forward.
Here Mustafa is that very person who serves as the friction for FG. Someone to whom she may wish to go or someone with whom she wanted everything to be fine. In a way Mustafa holds her back and also let's her move on.
The dilemma of FG's mind acts as a friction for Kerim. Her past, her love is the driving force for Kerim to prove himself. Initially he succumbed to her every thought but couldn't take the allegation anymore and surrendered to the police. Now this is moving forward.
Mustafa's obsession with FG acts as a friction for Asuyk. I doubt that she'll even abort the child. Mustafa's every pull will only make her move forward.
I see in no time Asuyk regretting the same way as FG today is.
If Selim, Erdogan and Vural were responsible for bringing Kerim FG together it will be Christine, Mustafa and Asuyk holding them forever.
