I have seen people visit Gulf for holidays without adequate homework, coz if they could search around and explore, Turkey will be a real bonus. Every evening when Fg ends at 10 PM on Zindagi, starts a THY-716 from Istanbul to New Delhi to reach here in a shade under five hours, even as this thread is busy getting populated with seasoned expert opinion 😊

I love Turkish language and hope to find time to learn it too. As it is, after having watched a few Turkish shows have learnt so many words. Funny thing is sometimes my mind is so wrapped around these words that I without even realising it start using them with folks around me... words like gunaidin, sao, nouoldu etc are so on the tip of the tongue these days lol. Blank stares one gets from ppl in return who don't understand head and tail of what's being said tend to get funny though 😆

Wikipedia says there are over 9000 common words between Hindi and Turkish languages, so that's great common ground!

Dil ko bada sukoon mila Erdogan aur Selim ko jail mein dekhke Wah Wah, mopping floors, washing clothes And then Erdogan getting beaten up in the precap is the icing on the cake 🤣

So, seems in Turkey rape is considered quite a dirty & unforgivable crime (as it should be everywhere but isnt). I was surprised to see the other prisoners shun the two because they are rapists.

My heart went out to FG as she recounted all that she had lost in Izmir😭 Poor kid. Most of the times I just want to envelope her in a big hug & hide her from all these jackals who surround her😭 And then the beautiful FaRim scene where he tells her that his biggest worry is that she would leave him

@Turkish language: While watching the original videos I noted that they use a lot of Urdu words too with a European accent which makes it difficult to recognize, but they are there. And I could identify a few German as well

@Turkey: Havent been to the country but had a stopover @ Ataturk airport. The airport is among my fav airports in the world. It is a small one but beautiful

Erdowgn 🤣 Erdowgn 🤣 " ab hum chor bhi ban gaye" 🤣 Had someone told me a few months back that I would love to watch a negative character as much as the leads and his antics would make me crack up, I would have laughed in their face but Kaan has changed all that...What an actor he is *clap clap* . He aced every singal scene...loved how he was trying to butter up the inmates 😆😆...Kaan take a bow and thanks for making me realise that villains can be entertaining too...😆😆

@The.Lannister : that is very true. While watching Kara Para Ask in turkish, there were couple of words which sounded familiar so I looked up on the internet if there are common words between Turkish and Urdu, and there are quite many. Although, most we wont understand because of their accent but there are some which can be understood if paid lot of attention.

Happy birthday to you,

happy birthday to you,

happy birthday to you dear Kerim,

Happy birthday to you...

Today's episode alone will make me bow to His Excellency Late Veda Turkali ji, what a champion of an author he is...! It's an honour that we're getting to enjoy his masterpiece, and surely we must have done good deeds to do deserve watching Fg!

Honestly, I was struggling to keep apace with today's episode, since many thoughts blurred my senses and it was getting too sweet to take. One of those episodes which you watch it now and experience the feeling later, much like a delightful afterthought... Brain cells needing time-out and breather rest...

Semsi sir, credit to this man! Agreed he's had his share of shady dealings with Yasrans but that's doesn't make him sell his soul to whatever Risat holds dear. He's one caring father who steadfastly wants to stand with Vural, no matter what Vural brings with himself. And if we're to think he's doing it only to get his back against Munir, I don't think it's that. Late as this may seem, Semsi wants Vural not to get influenced by the Risat-Munir combo... Semsi doesn't even seem to mind Vural getting punished by law than be a living puppet who sold his soul to the benefit of Yasrans... In this aspect, Semsi's thoughts mirror the very feelings that made Kerim go ahead and confess his hand in crime...

Felt this a bit strange as to how Vural sensed police around him... He was already knocked down cold and well buffered anyway. Happy to see him recover fast, and he looked really easy today, so that's good news overall...

Mustafa, @Mohabbatgirl was saying earlier he did a Gold at Douchebag Olympics, but this guy is on his way to conquer Michael Phelps final Gold tally, and he will do it sooner than Michael, such a disgrace he is turning out to be! He who doesn't want an independent Aasu now needs her to get his baby flushed! And he says "lekin mera neend toh haraam ho gayi...!" "Mere aane tak tumhe yeh bachcha giraa dena hoga" Poor Aasu may be following his words only because she's herself so helpless, yet surely Mustafa will break even Aasu's patience with his dirty thoughts and deeds... Trying to be too cute, he's actually racing towards a disastrous finale and only then his honeymoon period will be well and fully blown off... He drinks liquor to match the heady cocktail that's swirling in his brain. This guy doesn't even deserve a burial pit in old days...

Muqaddas remembered Kerim's birthday, so rarely sweet of her... And she genuinely feels hollow at turning up empty without gift! Loved the way Kerim exclaims he's got his gift as justice for his queen love Fatmagul! Fg seriously doesn't know how fortunate she's. The incident took away her esteem but gave her Kerim who will earn everything that Fg lost...

6

Kerim's confidence in Vural shows his faith in the latter. It may seem naive, as Kaderbhai hints at, but Kerim trusts Vural just as much as what he would have done if he were in Vural's shoes.

7

Fg's eyes welling up at tears at the sheep-shephered crossing was so natural and true. That was nostalgia in it's purest form, bringing with it all the memories, happy and sad, to her. Yet she's come miles away from that cheerful happy-go-lucky girl, when she tells Kerim that this village seems so alien to her, despite her dreams being woven to it. Her home is where she lives in Istanbul, with her family. And Kerim is the centre-stage of her life, she says this indirectly. But when Kerim expresses her fear about she leaving him, she deliberately remains noncommittal. Even Kerim knows that's not true, he still awaits her promise. Fg's roads have opened, that pleases Kerim to no end! He feels it's his victory than hers! Very beautifully crafted indeed...

Turaner has dashed off to Ankara and plugging all stops yet Risat suspects him of slacking intentionally. That's just about the trust he places among others, he himself being a cheater par excellence... The way he smirks when told of Mustafa's gun demand says he's finally met a true match who repeatedly manages to get under his skin... And he knows that the demand has to be met, love to see Risat getting dished his own medicine...

9

Fatmagul it seems will have enough composure in the court to keep herself from getting ruffled. One, she has extra determination arising from Erdogan's threatening gesture. Secondly, she has the willing Meryem, Kaderbhai and Kerim to keep her afloat. Thirdly and most importantly, any woman who can successfully withstand the ever-hostile Muqaddas taunting her every now and then will find court aggression relatively easier to handle. Muqaddas unintentionally has got enough practice-wicket test to solidify Fg from the core for the tournament finale...

Glory Glory Erdogan Selim!

Tihar jail needs to learn a thing or two from Izmir detention centre. The inmates way of introducing and socialising to attend each other was very beautiful. Trust Erdogan to crash when it matters the most! He says to Selim, "itni buree jagah bhi nahi hai !" Knew he has to adapt to this new home...and lies lies and more lies... Cheque bounce was waiting to bounce his skull out later... He could have declined from saying anything than bluffing around. Little did he know that he was in the middle of reformed inmates, whose collective might has no opposition even from one of the most downtrodden Yasran. What a sight it was of Erdogan being slammed and forced to serve... This scene alone can compete with the finale judgement clip... "Izzat se khaana milta tha ab toh paani bhi nahi milegi..." wow! People like these don't deserve jail if they can reform the ugly society that lay untried and unpunished... Matter of time such new leaves are released from jail! Few reformed men can cleanse what the thousands of haughty government officials can never... And this was only a detention centre, not a full-fledged prison that awaits E&S. Selim feels hungry and choked for good measure already, aage kya karoge beta?! Erdogan quipping "achcha ab toh hum chor bhi ban gaye" is sooo cute! Engin O and Kaan T, you guys rock the prison floor! You light up the surroundings very beautifully...

Vural, despite his trauma could reciprocate with the feelings of Meltem but not his mom Leman. Leman accusing Meltem as to being selfish was so shambolic! What's Leman then?! She's herself desperate to win back Semsi for her own happiness. She's just as hypocrite as the disgraceful Mustafa, but claims softer feeling simply because she feigns guilt very readily. And can always say she's a mother after all! Just like Perihan does to cover up her own lies to Meltem and Turaners. The entire Yasran family is a grand joke. It's a thick club of cheaters and dupers, and lies actually keep this family bonded than broken!

It's been that kind of a meaty episode. Too sweet to digest. And thread experts are surely working to bring their viewpoints in, would love to read them!

Good night people! Sleep well!

Fatmagul's return to her village is traumatic for her. She recalls her life and her "simple and little" dreams. She had her entire life planned out until she was brutally ripped off her innocence and youth. She was scarred for life, a wound that snatched away the meaning of life from her. Its really positive to see her will to recover.

I was really satisfied with the scene between Fatmagul and Kerim today. Kerim was rightful to leave that door part opened. His yet another again confession of love to Fatmagul and his adamantine to win her trust wins the audiences' heart and faith that he would never give up on his wife. But Fatmagul gave the most befitting reply. Her self-eccentric response reflected her concern and belief for herself and a positive future for self. Clearly, she isn't in a place to imagine any kind of love life.

Selim and Erdogan are finally starting to get the punishments for their horrendous crimes. A little remorse can be seen in Selim's behaviour but Erdogan is despicable as ever. No matter what he does, his belief that his money will save him persists. He has no remorse whatsoever. I want to so desperately watch his belief shaken and broken to the core. The treatment that these evil bros got in jail made me happy. I laughed seeing Erdogan washing jail mates' dirty socks and Selim mopping the floor. They would never have imagined themselves doing this even in their worst dreams. Erdogan is a big-mouthed fella and this will certainly become the cause of his doom.

Also, all this time, I thought of Perihan as a good lady but seeing the precap where she manipulates Mukkades truly reveals her character. She is a vile person blinded by the love of her son. She needs to lose the false disguise of a strong and honest lady.

I have hopes from Meltem. I am praying that she turns out to be a stronger character than what she has been presented until now.

It's Perihan speaking but Risat and Munir operating behind her voice. Her only claim is child love at the cost of every living thing. Disgusting but plausible. The entire Yasran family will pose a joint front under pressure until something extra ordinary emerges.
Meltem and Ender were about to board some flight after Meltem-Mustafa phone call yet she's still in Istanbul. What was the flight about then? Puzzle unsolved...
