Fawad Khan began his B-Town career with Khoobsurat, a romcom, followed it up withKapoor & Sons, a family drama and his next is Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, a romantic drama.

The actor from across the border sure is playing his cards right. He knows that romance is the genre his huge female fan-following wants to see him in the most. After ADHM, the actor will be seen in Raat Baaki opposite Katrina Kaif, followed by Salman Khan Films' next with Nitin Kakkar.

Nitin confirms, "We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year. He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board." The film will roll early next year when Fawad's dates are available. However, unlike the director's last film Filmistan, there is no social message in this one. The director adds, "This is an urbane love story. But more than that, it's an interesting take on relationships between a boy and a girl."

Yayyy.. Fawad is confirmed for one more hindi film. I am so happy for him. And its a love story, Fawad's strength is love stories, makes me happier.

@Sana: Cheer up! Emotions are running high and artists are soft targets. We all know Fawad working or not working in BW or giving a statement condemning the act will have no impact on the issue at hand. In BS I found mostly people who were never Fawad fans or who were never interested in ADHM saying they will boycott. These people are simply taking advantage of the situation and bashing Fawad because he is becoming a threat to their favorites in BW. I believe if he got a visa and is following rules no one can stop him from working in BW.

Btw, yesterday Boss started a thread on Why Salman had not yet condemned the attack? All Salman fans harped "why should he? he gets bashed for no reason.." blah blah. Hypocrisy of the forum🥱

Anyways, we should really celebrate. Fawad's two BW movies are confirmed🥳 Never thought this day would come. 2 movies

Will Bhai promote FK now?😕 FK will be associated with really important ppl in BW and that makes me really happy.

Salman Khan Productions -- Normally I would not be kicked about it. But in the current situation this news makes me happy - for obvious reasons.

Hope the director is really good as he is made out to be. But his absence for 4 years is what intrigued me...

TBH the biggest Sallu fans on the forum didnt bash FK. Lakhan was bashing but when I told him that Rowdiest is lying he stopped. Others bashing dont belong to any particular fan group or not there for long time on the forum. Just putting Salman on the dp doesnt make a Salman fan hence I will give them benefit of doubt. Its others..mostly the people who troll like NathuPyaare, ZanduBalm who were bashing Fawad...basically using the situation to take out other agenda.

But I will still give it to bhai...his timing is perfect. First Katrina and now FK. 😆For that sake I will watch both his movies in cinema next year. 👏

I dont want Salman to promote FK. Not as much as Sooraj, Arjun types. FK is capable of getting attention without any support from any major superstar and I hope his association with this film is successful for FK and Salman at the BO. Beyond that too much association with one superstar makes keeps a star in his shadow and I dont want that to happen with FK.

But atleast due to this bhai fans will stop seeing FK as a Kjo/SRK protege and stop bashing him.

I agree Shweta...atm Salman's tacit support is much needed. He is atm the most loved superstar in the country. Even SRK cant help atm as he himself is being targeted by bhakts all the time due to some stupid SRK fans who continue to make it a Modi vs SRK issue when it is NOT. Atleast Salman and family are close to Modi and co so its a much needed respite.

As for the film I will trust Fawad's script sense. The director won a NA for his first film and his tuning is same as FK's. I just dont know what these two will do with Sallu though. 😆
