Thanks a lot.
If I am not mistaken Erdowagn was the first one to rape Fatmagul? Not that it matters coz they all did it eventually but I think the first guy to do it was Erdowagn, isn't it ?

Kerim's blunder was to catch her and then being a mute spectator to the horrifying crime... Ritu...he keeps on regretting this throughout the show and is haunted by it almost till the end.

The story is about Mustafa Bulut whose crazily in love with his wife narin and tortures her for not returning back her love. she doesnt love him as it was a forced child marriage to keep the property within family but mustafa loves the girl to such an extent that he gets epileptic attack when she rejects him everytime. a doctor from UN who has to remove mines ends up falling in love with narin and tries to seperate/save narin but mustafa mental health goes downhill.

in the turkish version Engin put on a really thick accent and acts wonderfully, he play an epileptic and obsessive character so well especially the part where he is seperated from narin all his mentally unstable scenes are too emotional.
Mustafa bulut ki sui agar kisi point par stuck ho jae then he just wont let go. he is literally crazily in love with narin. pakka psycho hai but you still cant hate him coz Engin does his usual intense thing with eyes multiplied by a zakillion. its too intense a performance. you will cry your eyes out, keep a tissue box handy!

BBO is a must show for all Enginholics!

Thanks... waiting to watch BBO... Engin is class ...

I came across one question on this thread a few days back "do we like Vural coz of the good looking actor?" I guess many have answered it but I'll answer this one for myself.

My answer is NO. Am liking Vural for the characterisation. When it comes to the whole rape incident I think the first person we should hate is Kerim coz it was him who had stopped Fatmagul in the first place. Had he not held her this wouldn't have happened. He was the first one to notice her running ( I suppose). But we like his character coz he has a heart. Vural is a similar case. I like him for his vulnerabilities. He is haunted by everything, the night, the girl and the demon inside him. So yes I like him for what he his plus the actor has portrayed his part well.

The week began with him and Asuyk with her manager ( I ges or he's some agent). I like him sitting at the bar drinking to drown himself into anonymity. Isn't it a perfect human nature? We try to forget our mistakes or rather learn from them. But when intensity increases and mistakes become crimes one succumbs to the easy way out. He does the same.

Mustafa's fire of revenge can extinguish with Asuyk's tears. Its very important for this man to see and know that everyone is grief stricken. Its not just him who has to face the so called "insult" by society. Asuyk and Mustafa if together complete each other in every aspect. But sadly mustafa has no brains except for revenge.

Vural needs his friend (Zeneb I ges. I didn't hear it well. Correct me if wrong) Vural accepts he feared in the past. But my question is about today. Isn't it fear that is holding him back again? If in anyway he opens up and tell may be he'll relieved of the guilt. But once again if he opens his mouth all will be trapped. Poor fellow!!!! My heart cries for him, not because I favor what he did but for his realization. It's easier to die once but to die everyday is the real punishment. And the "guilt" itself is his punishment till his last breath.

Kerim Fatmagul the duo who is forced to stay together by the selfish heads. Life is about moving on. Life is about healing the old scars. Life is about accepting the nightmares as the bitter reality. Life is about facing the bitter reality head on and conquer it for the brighter future.

The phone call has ruined many things. I really wonder about Mustafa. Such a hypocritic person. He feels Fatmagul's rape snatched away his honour. Now Mr. Mustafa please tell me is it an honour to walk to an escort's home after fully drunk? Fatmagul as expected believes that he has moved on and cries. Her losing the way and Kerim finding her was wow. What I loved was the way they walked back. Fatmagul didn't walk with him. He led the way with longer steps. And she reluctantly followed him like a small child. It was so good!!!!! Kerim was happy with this tiny development. The scene was so symbolic... Even in life Kerim has to take the first step. He has to lead, she'll follow and then make her way out. We get this symbolism in the later episode where Asuyk and Embre leave and Fatmagul stomps off with Kerim following her. That scene was too good. A total contrast to the previous walk. The beauty of this pair is Kerim in no manner is trying to overshadow Fatmagul. He's letting her take the lead.

Kerim's dream was the projection of his wish. Beautiful!!! He writes a letter to her which was even more beautiful. He leaves for the airport, dreams about Yasrans at the airport warning him about Fatmagul. It was such a natural thing. After all demons attack unexpectedly. I liked the scene when he entered his eyes was busy searching them. Am happy he's questioning his trust on them subconsciously. Chameleons should never be trusted as they change colour. The highlight was the decision change. I admire the fact that no one stopped him except his heart. It was his decision. He accepts his love for her. His confession to Maryam and Fatmagul overhearing the conversation. She's aware about his feelings towards her. Now the things are twisting. I love her tea breaks with Maryam. She asks her about the morning after that night. Maryam tells her how kerim rambled that he was innocent. So his proclamation and maryam's words match. Development!!!!!!

The small trip with Asuyk and Embre was nice. Some time for them to know each other. The best part was the dimension to Asuyk's character. From the point of her searching for Fatmagul, faking her identity with the landlord's lad till the spoof of the trip she has grown to be a smarter person. I liked the way she keenly observed the couple. From the scene its pretty evident that she has figured out that there's more to it than what meets the eye. She somewhere is convinced that Mustafa's version of story is incomplete. Feathers of a bird she lies to Mustafa about everything. She seems to like Mustafa and her car breakdown and calling Mustafa was a proof for it. Maybe he's one person who hasn't judged her for her work. Same applies to Mustafa too. Unlike the ppl of the village Asuyk didn't judge him as a fianc or lover. But now the tables have turned. She has smelled the rat. Something is not right with Kerim and Fatmagul and if Mustafa gets the complete truth he'll be back to fatmagul. This is what i guessed from the whole sequence. I am clueless if we will get the detwils or not. Asuyk misses the point that Mustafa has no brains than revenge.

Refat's death was something I didn't predict. Resat is securing his finance with Turana. Refat has his own doubts and suffers a cardiac arrest. Erdogan is sure to go mad now. He's doing the same. Munir has brains. But Resat is very emotional and gives the powers to Erdogan. Erdogan hires Vural without anyone's permission. Now the game will turn uglier.

I liked the misconception that Resat, Munir and Maryam had about Refat. They felt he was a nice fellow.

Sadly his own blood, his sibling couldn't understand the lava brewing up in his mind. Resat had a chance of rectifying things. Maybe his conscience and wit could have stopped the inevitable. What they miss is the fact that Erdogan's attitude stems from Refat's insecurity.

Refat only waited for the right time to pounce. He could have done that if his heart had supported him. Erdogan will mess up things more for himself than others coz of his mouth. His hatred is visible unlike that of Refat's.

Erdogan and Resat deserve each other. They'll bring out the worst in each other for sure.

My most favorite scene was that of Kerim and Maryam. Kerim is lost in his thoughts of leaving everything and recalls how his father left. Maryam comes and keeps the bracelet on the table giving him a gentle reminder of what he is leaving behind. Such a subtle, symbolic and a deep scene. Loved it totally.

Muqaddas is a real grey person. Her troubling fatmagul is going to instigate Kerim more. I liked the fact that she knows kerim has opened an account for fatmagul and left money for her. Fatmagul voicing her decision of divorcing kerim. But muqaddas also has meaningful dialogues than the rubbish taunts. Like she told fatmagul that the person who keeps her things in his pocket will never leave her before kerim left. The dialogue was Wow!!!!!
I liked Muqaddas mimicking Maryam. Ye dawayi sardi ke liye, ye dawayi bukhasr ke liye. The whole mocking session was nice and most importantly Fatmagul smiled. These two can really work well if Muqaddas behaves like a woman. My mom likes her. She calls her 'hidimba' *ROFL* especially for the way she walks.

Their visit to the landlord's place was fun. Loved a lot when fatmagul says that if he starts his stories of military the night will get over. Adorable scene!!!

Love can change you if you let it to. All had options. Vural with zeneb. Mustafa with Asuyk. Kerim with Fatmagul.

I have many expectations from Asuyk though. Will she be able to change Mustafa?

Omer Demir is so different from Kerim Ilgaz. I have exhausted my vocabulary on him. I am always short of words in praising him. My next watching target is BBO. I am sure it is one more magnificent show from him.

He is not only a versatile actor but a versatile individual too. He writes articles and short stories proves he possess literary skills also. Multi talented actor. My admiration for him is increasing everyday.

Ditto babes ... Engin indeed is an versatile actor. Chalk and cheese difference between Kerim Ilgaz and Omer Demir. ❤️

Yes! Once again, we see what Engin was talking about in his interview with the Egyptian host...that Kerim's strength is not what he says - he is a quiet person - a thinker - but in his actions. His eyes needed to convey much more than his words, because Kerim does not have the words to say...His feelings are very deep and difficult to express to Fatmagul, and he doesn't feel he has the right to those feelings yet. He feels them, but is kept from expressing them...Yet, we can see his inner turmoil, and so can she. Later, Fatmagul can read his face...and Kerim her's...They are people who observe their surroundings and people's faces. They feel strongly, but hold a lot inside. As a viewer, we are mesmerized by their faces, aren't we? And the writers and directors were brilliant in doing it this way because they allow us to use our imagination...and feel what the characters are feeling. They don't "tell" us what to feel..they allow us to make that choice.

😆@Vidya How much I love your songtreats! 🤗❤️⭐️ Apt for every situation..👏👏

@Jhanvi Lovely Review.👏⭐️

OK, So please guys I request you all to stop quoting and requoting to the nth extent. It just makes the page heavier to load and excessive quoting is not even allowed. Please keep this in mind.😊

Also, can we cut some slack for the dubbing please? I agree Fatma's voice is irritating and squeaky and sounds like from some cartoon but apart from that I love the dubbing for other characters. Engin's dubbing is on point as it suits Kerim's personality and so does Erdogan's, Selim's and Vural's. Spcly I love Vural's as it very deep and sexy.

Maryam Maa's voice is lovely and Muqaddas has a very masaledaar dubbing as it suits her kamininess. 😆😆😆
Rehmi's voice suits his naiveness and innocence and not to add Munir Mamaji's is the best! ⭐️👏😆

For Fatma I would've love the voice that dubs for non Hindi speaking heroines like Katrina and Jacqueline, that lady has a lovely voice. ❤️ FG has much better dubbing quality than Feriha which sounded like a Disney Show, and I'm sure Zindagi will improve more with the coming up of more Turkish shows.

The Saturday's Episode had to one of the most beautiful that I've seen in so many days. Kerim's final realization that he loves Fatma was subtly and beautifully done. 👏👏⭐️ Kudos to Hiral for bringing in such beautiful scenes.
Loved the scene where Kerim comes out and Maryam Maa's happiness on seeing him was priceless and beautiful. ❤️ That smile on Kerim's face when he tells Maryam Maa that he couldn't leave and then Maryam Maa telling him that he's in love was just beautiful.😳

Uh oh! Fatma heard his confession and is enraged at him for telling her lies but I so love Kerim when he tells Maryam Maa that when Fatma was apparently missing, he felt as if he lost something that's very dear to him.

The Kerim Fatma scene where she snubs him but he still tries to tell her, why he didn't leave.⭐️ Love. ❤️

Selim, Erdogan and Vural are at complete sea as to why Kerim didn't leave? I loved how Kerim snubbed Erdogan, deserved it big time! 😆😆
And Selim's joke about, Kerim is in love with Fatma. Why? Only you can be a puppy around Meltem and can be all over her? 😆😆

I liked how Fatma is all determined to study further, learn some work from Maryam Maa and then be independent! 👏👏 That's the spirit my girl and its equally responsible of Kerim to think about starting some work along with Rehmi.

Love The Bonding between Kerim Rehmi. ❤️
Aasu so clearly cuts herself off from the boat guy and pretends that she is getting married. What A Drama! 😆😆😆

Muqaddas is such a bitch! 🤬 I mean how could she talk such low and cheap things to Fatma when all she said was, she wanted a divorce from Kerim. She was so right, that things could've been different if Muqaddas hadn't only been greedy and selfish.

I so wish that Fatma slapped her, when she raised her hand on Muqaddas. She deserved it, if only Maryam Maa hadn't stopped her. 😡😡

This new week seems to be bringing in a lot and I'm excited.😳
