Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is so pretty, gushes Fawad Khan

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who continues to set many hearts racing with his suave looks and effortless performances, says he really enjoys watching Ranbir Kapoor's films.

"I am a big fan of his work. I have enjoyed most of his performances," says the 34-year-old, who will be seen in a cameo role in film-maker Karan Johar's next directorial venture, which also stars Ranbir, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma.

"I shot with Ranbir for the first time for this film, but that was hardly for three or four days in Austria. Before that, I had briefly met him in London, UK, when he was shooting for the same film," says Fawad, adding, "He is a chilled out and relaxed guy. But our interactions have been limited in number. I am looking forward to a shooting schedule that allows us to spend more time together."

The actor is also full of praise for Aishwarya. Recalling the day they met for the first time at a film screening, Fawad says, "Aishwarya is so pretty... I had seen her without my glasses, and even then she was looking fabulous. But since I was not wearing my glasses [at the screening that day], I had to first check with my manager if it was actually her (laughs)," he says.

Incidentally, Fawad worked closely with Ranbir's father, Rishi Kapoor, in their last release, Kapoor & Sons. He says he found the senior actor's crankiness "extremely entertaining". "His jokes were so much fun. He is so young at heart. He also took good care of me," says Fawad.

oh wow - good to hear that fawad likes aish . I am dying to see them together though I don't really think they will share screen space in the film...😭..uff!! Fawad I want you in promotions - I just hope he is there during the promotions .

I too want that this time fawad takes the heroine away .

I have always loved fawad with kids - even in kns I loved the interaction he had with the children.😊

quite long this is but fawad at few places ❤️❤️❤️

for ADHM , I am already imagining fawad standing at some new york river front , and the wind flowing through his hair , calm and composed , pain in his eyes , a bit sad as if he has lost someone but still has hopes . something like this:

this is how dharma films mostly have been - all dreamy situations . I really want fawad in such dreamy dreamy sequences.

and then fawad and deepika - uff they have to be casted .they will be damn hot together . I want to see them like some modern couple . and I imagined them sitting on a terrace , weather is windy and they are having some hearty conversations - a bit similar to what deepika and ranbir did in YJHD.

After wrapping up his schedule of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in Jaipur with co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Fawad Khan is on his annual month-long musical and charity tour in the US with his wife Sadaf and son Ayaan.

The 34-year-old actor first landed in Seattle on April 30 and addressed an audience of 200 students on what are perceived as "third world countries".

Dressed in a three-piece suit, Fawad looked khoobsurat as he stuck to belting out "Bolna" from his last release, Kapoor and Sons, while the gathered guests sent in requests for more numbers. "It is my favourite song and thank you for such a warm reception, Seattle," he shared on social media with a video of his performance.

Fawad was one of the founding members of the Lahore-based Entity Paradigm, an alternative rock band which was dissolved in 2007. He has since been pursuing a solo music career and even hummed a few lines of "Chand Si Mehbooba Ho Meri" in the Shakun Batra film.

On May 3, he headed to Dallas and performed at the Islam Relief USA (IRUSA) fundraiser where 20 volunteers joined him on stage. "The family celebrated Mother's Day with a cake and a private dinner on Sunday in New Jersey, which was the next destination of the tour. On Monday, they were joined by award-winning photographer, Asim Farooki, and jewellery designer, Samreen Vance, who specially flew to America for the conference," informs a source close to the actor.

Amidst the tour, with five more cities to go to, including Washington DC and New York, Fawad has been obliging his fans at the venues with pictures, before he returns to Pakistan by May-end, where he will begin filming Albela Rahi -- a biopic on the legendary Urdu pop singer Alamgir. The actor plays the 61-year-old musician in the film.

He promises to be back in B-town once the details of his third film are finalised. Another Dharma Production, maybe?
