And the rumors are back again! The latest one says that Fawad to play the role of Ratan Singh (Deepika's husband) in Padmavati. The tweet was by a Filmfare editor so maybe its true?😕

Here is the article on Fawad playing Ratan Singh in Padmavati. I dont like the tone of the article. Especially saying Fawad has so many dates to spare(which is true) and he is fine with playing second fiddle to Ranveer which even people like Ali Zafar, Vicky Kaushal declined. I feel they are trying to tell Shahid they have options.

The Rani of Chittor has found her Raja, Rawal Ratan Singh and this search for the male lead of Padmavati has ended with Fawad Khan. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finalised the Pakistani actor to star as Deepika Padukone's screen husband in his period epic, Padmavati. Fawad was in Mumbai for the past couple of weeks, finalising the deal.

Says a source, "Bhansali wants 200 days from all his lead actors, including Ranveer Singh (plays Alauddin Khilji) and Deepika (Padmavati). Fawad has those days to spare. In between, he has Karan Johar's production, but it should not be a problem as KJo and Bhansali share a good equation. So they will work it out. It's too big an offer for Fawad to pass up.

Moreover...

FK and DP walked the ramp on Wednesday as Manish Malhotra's showstoppers and their chemistry was noticed. Fawad has played a Rajput prince before in Khoobsurat and was liked in the part. In that movie, he wooed DP's rival, Sonam Kapoor.

The source adds that Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Ali Zafar were approached, but no one wanted to play second fiddle to Ranveer. This is a step up for Fawad, who gets to work with SLB and a top actress.

Did you watch it finally? There were some links to watch online. I liked the gags they had. I especially LOVED Fawad singing. KJo looked like a proud papa after he sang. 😆

Yes i finally watched it online...loved kal ho na ho...and deepu fk ..and sona fk stuff..fawad looked confident and karan really admires fk genuinely.

Fk doesnt have 200 days..and where did ali zafar come in the equation..kuch bhi..

Plus doesnt fk have AR to shoot and kat movie as well...

zgh aur hs ka marathon to thik ha,repeat telecast hai magar NUMM ka kyu...

new show ka to daily 1 episode dikhana chahiye,marathon dekhna bahut difficult hai...t.v ke samne chipak kar baithna padta hai...raat tak dimaag ghum jata haiaur agar kahi chale gaye to story miss ho jayegi...

27th july ko( kash aisa ho)telecast na karte,,,numm shuro kar dete...not fair zindagi channel😡

anyways tittle track of numm is very nice...
