started to wtach the show only because i was curious abt how they r going to justify these kind of wrong relationship?but as the tagline says" its complicated".it is really complicated to show n handle these kind ofb things on tv.jassi is really complicated character but there were many good sides of her as she never wanted bad for anyone.she acted very selfishly n broke all social norms.it was not only a mistake but also a crime and sin.she loved beeji varen channi n naren all.she fullfilled her duties as well.but kehte hai naa ek bura kaam aapki sab achai ko khatam kar deta hai.this is what happened with jassi.me also not fond of her character but she was much better than varen.she used varen to fullfill her physical needs but she was also dependent on him emotionally.she always cared for him n concerned abt him 'but varen only fullfilled his physical needs.other than it he treated her lyk a stranger.he was selfish, weak, useless and worst.n channi was best match for a idiot person lyk him.frm my pov jassi was better than both.yesterday i wanted to go into tv and pushed channi down.breaking social norms n killing sumone both things are wrong.in the end she was standing hathjode.it was worst symbolism ever.its reality of today.ppl commits crime n sins n after this they hav guts to show their face to god.no shame at all.i hav seen ppl worshipping whole day n even then abusing others wid bad names n all.it irritates
me
i hav lot to say but very less tym because my 10 month baby has woken up.will say only that if jassi did wrong then everyone including naren viren beeji did wrong wid her.none thought abt her desires of staying wid hubby n bcoming mother.still having relationship wid dewar is highly disgusting.

Well said...u summarised so precisely ..all...wat ..i wanna say

Hi

This is my first post on this show and that too after it has ended. I'm really shocked to see most of the comments on Jassi. I don't say the comments are right or wrong but I would like to just put my viewpoint

Jassi a homely bahu caring for everybody but no one cares for her emotional and physical needs. I would emphasise more on the emotional love for the girl from a man. Sex may or may not be the last part of this love. Even without having a physical relation this emotional love is a requirement of a girl. I know most of the girls on this forum also understand this.
Jassi was not having this support and she had two options. One to look outside or to have it from her devar. She fell for the later and what was initially an emotional fulfilment ended up in a physical relation. Just imagine if she was in an Ex MA with some outside guy. Did Biji or Channi reacted in the same way?
I don't blame Jassi for what she did before she got vir married to Channi. She was the victim of circumstances - she got some fulfilment in her life from some aadha adhura pyar. I pity and feel bad for her.
The story couldn't have ended in a better way. She lost her adhi adhuri life with some love. If it was not her death she would have lived a cursed life worst than what she lived thru. Its difficult to understand the psychology which one goes thru for want of love but its very easy to blame and preach.
Love is a very complex emotion and need but is seldom given the seriousness it deserves for others unless we are ourselves involved in it. Neither Biji nor channi could understand her and specially biji over reacted. Channis reaction was justified but not Biji

Both Channi and that friend of Jassi's forgave the menfolk very easily, and drew their claws out for the women involved. Even Beeji would have forgiven Varinder and thrown Jassi out of the house🥱
agree why men dont get punishment?btw society is not going to change bcoz women themselves are responsible for this.both channi n beeji blamed only jassi.i agree channi was not so modern and was not in position to quit varen but she should hav sum self respect not to giv him the right sleeping wid her just after sum days she got to know the truth.she forgave varen as she needed varen for her happy life and she killed jassi bcoz her life will b more happier widout her.she will b maalkin of house.their honeymoon period will bcome neverending period.she proved herself sis of jassi in true way.both wanted to b happy at any cost.even then jasi was much much much 100000000 tym much better than killer channi.

I have to start with my favourite fine. WHAT on earth were the makers smoking while thinking of making this drama. Like seriously what a piece of junk!

1. TV show makers in India especially should never attempt something that they cannot execute. Whoever the creative director is, he needs to be smacked for making a mockery out of relationships. The whole drama had no freaking culmination to it. What was the point of the whole show. Left such a bad taste in my mouth. I cannot believe that these people take viewers for granted and come up with such gibberish storyline.
Did not expect Zindagi to telecast such nonsensical shows. After watching shows like ZGH and et al, a channel needs to think of its reputation before airing such awful shows. The zindagi team needs to rethink their strategies if they want to continue to stay in the business!

2. In retrospect, the story did not make sense from day one. All of us were hoping we would get some clarity with respect to the storyline and characterization but none of those happened. Jassi and Varinder's relationship dynamics were never clearly shown. Was it only physical needs or was it an emotional bond? None of it was answered.
Clearly the makers did not have any clue on how to go about with the story. They wanted to make a 'path breaking' show with a 'bold' concept but never thought about how the execution needs to be done without making a joke out of it. Unfortunately they did end up doing the same. They need to learn sooo many things from our neighbors on how to make a GOOD show with a good concept and convey the message as well. Anyway.

3. Coming to the infamous ending, it was hideous. Absolutely ridiculous. Like i have always mentioned, Jassi is at fault but so is varinder. His fault does not lessen up because he wasn't the first to initiate or because he fell in love with his 'wife' or because he understood he was wrong. NONE of this can be taken into consideration. He and Jassi are to be blamed together and that's about it. Why is Jassi alone answerable to all the deeds. Only because she is WOMAN and a woman can do no wrong??!!! Varinder was left scottfree and an idiot like channi starts glorifying him as well. Kudos to the team for such a freaking regressive thought. The ending was so pathetic, i'm actually at loss of words. WTH happened to humanity. Channi let's go off her sister's hands without blinking an eye and she has the audacity to pray acting all innocent. I can only LOL at the direction. Sadly the creatives did end up conveying that a woman commits a crime and she has million fingers pointed at her whereas the man is not even questioned. AWFUL thinking!

You guys are analysing and blaming channi. How could channi tolerate the infidelity of Vir. BTW how wd channi reacted if Jassi was in relation with some other guy?

I am a silent lurker here. Note: My comment is totally based on updates given on this thread.I didnt watch a single episode😕😛
Initially I didn't want to watch this show bcoz extra-marital relations are a BIG NO to me. I mean I can't forgive such ppl but then I watched similar concept turkish show(ask-e-memnu) in which I kind of made peace with the leads so I thought since it's Indian version they wud show better justification of y jassi and varin felt the need to start their relationship in the first place but it went down the hills👎🏼 About the ending I expected that jassi will die (another similarity with that show) BUT after the whole world knows the truth. Here it is like the makers swept dirt (i.e.whole truth in the show) under the carpet ( without the society knowing the truth). I was wondering how wud makers make us sympathize with her and IMO jassi's death is the only way that many viewers wud sympathize with her. I mean how many ppl here on this thread were against jassi but she died in the end and that too bcoz of channi now we are sympathizing with jassi. And was jassi best wife, best sister, etc?! IMO NO she was not...no matter how much jassi was adjusting in other matters she failed has a wife, sister, sister-in-law, etc. She couldn't adjust where she shud have. Instead of acting all ok it wud have been many times better if she told dadi that she wants to stay with her husband..she has some dreams etc !

loved ur post.agree these kind of relationship happen due to many reason which everyone cant understand but these reasons cant b justified in society.frm my pov every person acts differently in a situation.i understands jassi situation frm d core of my heart n i feel sympathy for her but even then it is not right in any way.the path she chose to remain happy n fullfill her needs was wrong.naren viren beeji all were responsible for making her chosing that path.the picture would b different one if naren would giv her more tym on phone and not ignoring her always.naren only treated her lyk caretaker of his family.beeji ka khayal rakhna, channi ka khayal rakhna, varen ko shaadi ke liye mana lo,ye kaam kar dena vo kaam kar dena blah blah blah blah blah.

I have a different viewpoint on 2 points.

1. Sympathy factor- IMO the CVs rather the writer killed jassi bcoz the alternate would have been. Narendra forgives and accepts her and both of them leave the house - result family break up and all are unhappy. with her death atleast all of them can feel peace - may be after some time.

2. Jassi had the problem with herself. She wanted to be best wife sister D-in law but her emotions failed her. She was not emotionally strong and why should she? She just got carried away due to circumstances. Its natural!!! She paid a heavy price but she tried and lived her life and extracted some happiness - right or wrong in the eyes of society but as she said to biji and channi - she didn't regret it and I agree with her.

For everything we take - we have to pay a price

1. If Narendra forgives and accepts her then IMO channi wudn't have any problem neither Varen. But the msg wud be: its ok if u cross ur limits ur partner will forgive u ( i am saying this with the perspective that they didn't show jassi's redemption.)
2. She paid a heavy price : If we momentarily not think abt the end as jassi dying then what price did she pay? Heavy price is that she died...so again her death is sympathizing factor. Committing a wrong just bcoz circumstances lead her and on the top not regretting abt it doesn't justify her. We live in a society where certain unspoken/spoken rules are set for peaceful living.

what i royally disliked in last episode was channi showing happiness that she is expecting. then jassi saying she is also expecting. and when channi ask kiska hai. she says kya farak padta hain ?? sanjha ghar hai and all the crap. My sister guessed jassi jhoonth bol rahi hai. then jassi repenting ki hai mainey jhoot kyu bola . it was some competition how to prove your intimacy ?? while jassi was saying all that ki ghar sanjha hain and all. i felt she is psycho. and why she is roaming she should be sent to mental asylum. and channi boasting about virender and her marriage like he is Lord Ram of Kalyug. how she was expecting when she was maintaining distance ?? means it was for some days only and then she gave up ?? and channi killing jassi. she also became vampish. the last episode was two woman fighting over a man. i really appreciate actors for performing last episode. i really really appreciate that they compromise their intellect. 🤬
