I first want to applaud 👏 the makers for taking up such a bold content on television... The promos had promised that already...
The epi revolved around the basic introduction of the characters...

Jassi, varinder, narinder and beeji...

A well crafted show...

The topics that ppl find difficult to discuss are addressed... 👏

( jassi's scene with her friend at mandir " kuch baatein parde me ho toh hi acchi hoti hai" )

A truly mature content executed well...

People are quite judgmental these days.

Even Before the start of the show few viewers started criticised the show.

I haven't watched the episode but I've already given thumbs up to this story. I hope they won't change the scenario into typical saas-bahu drama where husband is shown villain and then things happened & brother-in0-law is hero-in-disguise.

As per my observation, the channel is diffn from others... It basically focusses on finite dramas... This too may be a finite show as per my guess... And I don't think they'll change the concept as the channel is known for a varied content...

Plus as I may guess again, it seems to me that they have shot the show in advance... ( not sure but it does give me that feel)

I couldn't watch the episode. Could someone give a brief into what the story is like?

What a irony . In 1915 , we say what a bold concept is Aadhe Adhure and Zee and i think DD also made decades ago very progressive and years ahead shows based on such bold topics which were swept under the rugs . Even Literature century ago was progressive . But that time we had directors and story writers to write some home truths before the public which were shy away . Only if Zindagi does not stretch it like rubberband and hope have learnt something from our across the line content based shows . Like the concept as we can't paint life in white and black . Many shades are there in forms of emotions . If you are married does not mean that you have buried yourself . So many situations and circumstances makes relations complicated .

Today was the basic introduction... The main lead is jassi. She lives with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law. Her husband lives out of town coz of job ( didn't catch that much).

I even didn't get the names correctly.. Sorry for that... But the male lead that is brother in law varinder is the most eligible bachelor of town... It juz revolved around getting a suitable bride for him.. The tym his marriage is mentioned there is a flicker of change in jassi's expression which In the first take itself gives out that smthn is fishy..

Her husband calls up saying that he has talked of his brother's marriage with someone from his office ( exactly who I dunno, I ges his boss or smthn, it has become an issue of his pride) he asks them to visit the girl's place in Ludhiana immediately. Once the marriage is fixed he shall come for 2 months break. Jassi is happy...

A temple scene where jassi meets her friend.. And yes there's basically a mention of intimacy post marriage... ( even a love bite is addressed as " kuch baatein parde mein ho toh hi acchi hoti hai" )

Cut to house varinder is asked to try various shirts and then he's attacked with a reality bomb of his marriage.. He refuses. Jassi assures beeji that she'll take care of that and convince him..

Night scene.. Varinder on terrace with jassi trying to convinces him again of marriage which he refuses again.. "Main kisi ki baat nahi maanunga"

"Meri bhi nahi?" Jassi comes from behind holding him... They depart into the room...

Precap- jassi tells varinder that his marriage will be a veil to their relationship...

The show basically deals with the aspect of physical relationship in a marriage... The desires of a woman... And it is addressed quite openly... Jassi's expressions are bang on... Quite progressibe and different from what we regularly watch...

P.s- I hope this helps.. Do watch.. U will like it..

Neerjaa 👏👏

Zindagi is definitely plating a pivotal role in changing the outlook towards television... And I really hope they keep this show the way it is...

I mean yes... The female protagonist unlike other shows isn't a perfect pious lady.. She is human.. She is real.. And I loved that...

This is how i came across my 1st Pak show. This Channel provides specific niche content but not many ppl know about it. Feriha promoted zindagi well still zindagi heavily depends upon young audience.

I prefer emotional setup more than physical intimacy stuff. Mature Content,if any, surely adds some spices into the story.

It is not at all about adding spice to a story... If that's the case am the first to back out...

Mature content in the sense the thought... Not skin show...

I mean the show has come up with smthn that ppl shy from talking about...

Physical intimacy comes out coz of emotional connect... So that shall be there.. Let's c how they take it... Abhi tak toh its juz the first epi...

Onlyif woman is emotionally attached only then she will go physical as its not easy for her . I love the content , was not writing my comments as was somewhat hesitant . Zindagi has shown all kinds of contents , I love feriha because of not in white or black but with flaws and no preaching . Yes getting popular in young as well in every age group .Everyone loves fairy tale . Aadhe adhure is not every ones cup of tea . Its mature subject and made by Ajai Sinha who directed Hasrtein and astitav and perhaps one show on Sahara .

If you are showing mature story with emotional tana bana then how can physical intimacy be remain behind . We are living in 1915 , yes would love to see not going with our hindi show way in trash . then surely will loose the viewers .
